Let me tell you why I restarted mine in the spirit of spring time:

Over the holidays we had lots of company And we ate a lot of the produce. I also had lots of little toddlers who were yanking things out all the time which was kind of fun but eventually I had to start over.

I also learned a lot from the first growing in terms of placement and I wanted to put the heavier vegetables on the bottom and the lighter ones including herbs closer to the top
