I have been told that an American Airlines pilot (jabbed) blacked out on touchdown and didn’t remember anything after that.

I’m a retired air traffic controller. No most commercial planes we fly on are not computer controlled to land. Yes there are 2 pilots but would u really take that chance? Usually right seat is less experienced - no way am I taking that chance. It’s Russian roulette! It’s certainly a pain to drive cross country but that’s what I’m doing. A friend who is a pilot and is in contact with many on all airlines says it’s a giant shit show right now- v injuries are common and many have lost medical clearances to fly. Airlines r ramping up their single pilot emergency training. This isn’t the conditions we should expect to fly under. My whole career the medical standards were the highest- I couldn’t even take day quill!! I always took pride in our National airspace system- it was the safest in the world. Now , sadly, it is not and I don’t understand why more aren’t speaking out.
