When I was a little kid in the 50s and 60s, it was a pretty nice place to grow up, in spite of the fact that we were ethnic, poor, and the children of legal, Italian immigrants.
Over the years, the Democrats got a stronghold, and now they comprise all three branches of government.
When we say upstate New York, we are talking about Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, not the rich suburbs just outside of New York City.
Upstate is incredibly beautiful, with the five glacial sourced, 5 Finger Lakes, sandwiched in between two Great Lakes, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
New York City always brought down the rest of the state with liberal unions, organized, crime, and the communist Democrat strong hold that overtaxed and debased the rest of the state.
Lee Zeldin is not the second coming for New York State, but he’s a start - a shot at turning this once great state around
