Nine months ago, Russia attacked Ukraine. The horror of this tragedy cannot be fully understood. All this time, the Russian authorities and the military have been committing violence, killing civilians and destroying their homes, but Ukraine has stood its ground. Ukraine wins and will soon return all its lands!
The rally is organized by Russian citizens who oppose the war and continue to fight against the regime that brought war to Ukraine and Georgia, against the regime that also destroys the lives of its own citizens.

The operation was successful, the child and mother feel good, their lives are not in danger. The girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance from Rustavi. The gestational age was 35 weeks.

➡️🇪🇺🇬🇪 The EU countries will discuss and give an answer on granting Georgia the status of an EU candidate only at the end of 2023 (or they will postpone this decision again).
It all depends on the implementation of the recommendations necessary to obtain the status. This was announced by EU Ambassador in Georgia Pavel Gerchinsky.
"We are following this process very closely (the implementation of 12 recommendations). There is still time, because according to the calendar we will evaluate the implementation of the recommendations in the spring of next year. The formal opinion of the European Commission is expected in October, and only after that our leaders will discuss progress of Georgia and other countries wishing to become EU members," the diplomat said.

About a thousand people attended the procession and rally. Among the participants were Georgian human rights organizations, opposition movements and local residents. They demanded legislative changes that could protect women, including the definition of rape and the concept of consent (in Georgia, only cases when it is accompanied by another form of violence are considered rape, and sex without consent is not considered a crime under the law).
"No means no!" the crowd chanted.
Different stories were heard at the rally: about the difficulties in achieving justice in family disputes, about the traditionally biased attitude towards girls, about the difficulties in protecting the rights of mother and child.
ℹ️ Despite the fact that the Georgian government has toughened the punishment for gender issues, the state leadership is concerned about this issue, since according to statistics, 186 women have been killed in the last eight years.

"The need to expand the Georgian part of the BTK is due to the growing volumes of cargo transportation through Azerbaijan," President Ilham Aliyev said. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.

The average concentration of harmful PM2.5 particles in 2021 is 4.2 times higher than the WHO recommended air quality value.
