💸 Tbilisi State University students pelted Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party, with paper copies of Russian rubles.

The action took place when the politician came to give lectures on the constitution, which he regularly holds at TSU. The students tried to approach Kobakhidze with a request to sign copies of the rubles and ask questions, but his bodyguards stopped them. As a sign of protest, young people threw down copies of Russian money on the stairs.

In a number of areas it was necessary to declare a quarantine and prohibit the walking of pets.

Due to the fact that with the symptoms of rabies, the disease is not treatable and in 100% of cases ends in death, special importance is attached to the prevention of the disease, expressed in preventive and mandatory vaccination. According to Georgian legislation, dogs and cats should be vaccinated once a year. Mandatory vaccination is carried out as part of quarantine measures within a radius of 3 kilometers, after a case of rabies is detected.
