"A Hymn of Praise For the Teachers and Prophets of the East" by Photian "Saint" Nicholas Velimirovich
"The wise man of India teaches my soul not to be afraid of suffering, but through the arduous and relentless drilling in purification and prayer to elevate herself to the One on high, who will come out to greet her and manifest to her His face and His power. Glorious be the memory of Krishna, the teacher and prophet of his people!

The royal son of India teaches my soul to empty herself completely of every seed and crop of the world, to abandon all the serpentine allurements of frail and shadowy matter, and then in vacuity, tranquility, purity, and bliss to await nirvana. Blessed be the memory of Buddha, the royal son and inexorable teacher of his people!...

The thunderous wise man of Persia tells my soul that there is nothing in the world except light and darkness, and that the soul must break free from the darkness as the day does from the night. For the sons of light are conceived from the light, and the sons of darkness are conceived from darkness. Glorious be the memory of Zoroaster, the great prophet of his people!"

The Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem severely criticized Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church for awarding Azerbaijan’s First Lady, Mehriban Aliyeva, the Order of Saint Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga, 1st Class.

The award was presented during Patriarch Kirill’s visit to Baku and was given for Aliyeva’s role in “preserving traditional values,” according to the Russian Church. The Armenian Patriarchate issued a fiery statement over this egregious decision, citing heightened tensions and the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage in the region, as Azerbaijan continues to exert its financial and political influence in an attempt to distort and overwrite the Armenian Christian history of Artsakh.

"Napoleon had nothing but his own soul. Through it he won all his battles; through it he was an unheard leader of men, an infinite administrator; who dared to rot Europe in the hands of God, and hoped never to return. It was by his soul at last and his soul alone that he had the glory of being wrong as no man had wronged before him, and to be shot down at the end, being only the Announcer, not by the furious hostility of a few humiliated kings, but by the coalition of all centuries and by the juiceant of the French Revolution that withdrew from him, having carried him to the peaks.”

Moreover, in a letter to Mme. de Fadeyev, dated October 28–29, 1877 (shortly after the publication of Isis Unveiled), Blavatsky wrote, “Of course you will not find one word therein against the Orthodox Church. Why? Your Church is the purest and the truest, and all the ugly human things, as well as all the little ‘enemies’... will not suffice to desecrate it. In the Russian Orthodox Church alone is Divine Truth established, firmly established.” She adds, however, that this truth “is buried in the foundations; it cannot be found on the surface” (Algeo, 343).

“Symeon the New Theologian (949–1022), arguably the most important Byzantine religious thinker between John of Damascus in the eighth century and Gregory Palamas in the fourteenth, often presents salvation as a heavenly marriage. Scholars have long noted Symeon’s…
Divine Eros: HYMNS OF ST SYMEON THE NEW THEOLOGIAN, Daniel K. Griggs, SVS Press, Hymn 15:

"For while we become many members He remains one and indivisible, and each part is the whole Christ himself. And so thus you well know that both my finger and my penis are Christ." - Symeon the New Theologian, Hymn 15

"They glorify the compassionate one, they yearn for the beautiful one, and they are all united to the whole of his love, what is more, they acquire the holy seed, as we said, receiving the whole transformed God within themselves." - Symeon the New Theologian, Hymn 15

"They are hidden members of Christ, for they are covered, and on account of this they are more revered than the rest, as hidden members of Him Who is hidden, they are unseen by all, from Whom seed is given in divine communion, awesomely deified in the divine form, from the whole divinity itself, for He is God entire," - Symeon the New Theologian, Hymn 15

"They also commanded him (Palamas) to be subjected to additional beatings, so that his punishment would be all the more severe, and that he might feel the pain of sodomitical and effeminate shame, which is contrary to nature."

" Many different opinions were put forth. Some had proposed that a simple agreement in Orthodoxy was both all that was required and all that was possible to require of them, since the Anglicans already (supposedly) had, albeit illegally, valid rites of baptism, chrismation, and holy orders, with at least a claim to Apostolic Succession, which ‘mysteries’ could not lawfully be repeated (in agreement with the Trebnik of Peter Moghila - ultimately derived from Roman Catholic mysteriological (sacramental) theory and regulations)."
