Elon Musk and Tesla are the future? Let we check the reality!
For the year as a whole, the proportion of electric cars in new car sales ended at 79.3 per cent. This has led to us having 138,260 new electric cars on Norwegian roads. This is a new record, despite the fact that overall car sales were lower than the previous year.
Electric van sales in 2022 have not been as encouraging. The proportion of new electric vans ended at 23 per cent in 2022. Despite the fact that there is still a long way to go before the goal of 100 per cent electric vans in 2025, it is positive that the proportion has increased considerably since the electric proportion was only 8.5 per cent in 2020 .

They sold more Audi, Volkswagen, Hyundai, etc. than Tesla! So for those seeing Elon Musk and Tesla as god for climate change, let we say less shit. Check previous post, where we already talked about electric cars ...
Yes, Tesla sold 100% electric, but Audi is 93%!
Plus we still need to remember that Audi for example is currently selling just expensive models (Audi is expensive per default...), like Q8, Q4, etc. https://perma.cc/3DGZ-V6U6 in such case Tesla https://perma.cc/S5WJ-YPXS or Hyundai https://perma.cc/EVR3-TGLZ are cheaper for example. Not that charging is a major problem in Norway – we have 25.102 charging stations, including more than 6000 rapid chargers, all over the country. Say goodbye to range anxiety!
Another point: does Tesla have electric bus, planes, ships! NOPE. Buzz Cargo? Nope! https://perma.cc/HYW5-4XXR Again: electric is not synonym with Elon Musk! Otherwise Norway would not be 🇳🇴 ...

US automakers Ford, General Motors, and Tesla were at the bottom of the ranking, as they have not made a public commitment supporting a moratorium on deep sea mining nor pledged to exclude deep sea minerals from their supply chains.
Yet five of the eight EV manufacturers ranked by Greenpeace (Rivian, Renault, BMW Group, Volvo, and Volkswagen) have publicly supported a global moratorium on deep sea mining and publicly committed to not sourcing minerals from the deep seabed.
Owning an house (especially if small, like the 50k house ... or in Pavel Durov style) is the less CO2 pollution thing you can do. Let we consider your SpaceX business, your ElonJet (even for fucking short trips!), your holidays on yachts, your overevaluated Tesla, which still pollute directly / indirectly and is for sure not god ... without thinking about missing animal rights with other projects you are doing.
Plus indirect pollution done by others, like

While fossil fuels are burnt once, major battery inputs like lithium and copper can be recycled multiple times. By 2040, recycled materials have the potential to supply over half of the essential elements for new batteries, even with growing battery demand. Large companies with high use rates of minerals, such as electric car company Polestar, have declared their intention to transition to a closed-loop system. This approach must be scaled and accelerated https://perma.cc/VA5W-D76Z
