From July 28 to August 15, 2025, the English for IT Summer Camp brought together over 250 merit-based selected 9th–10th grade students from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus for an intensive 17-day journey of learning, creativity, and collaboration.
Funded by the U.S. Government and implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with IT Park University, the program aimed to strengthen English language proficiency, IT skills, and leadership capacity among Uzbekistan’s rising generation of tech-minded learners.
Throughout the camp, participants engaged in:
Through classes and guest speaker sessions, students also learned about global technology trends and explored U.S. opportunities for collaboration and education in the field of IT - inspiring them to think internationally and ambitiously.
The camp’s closing days were a celebration of achievement and innovation. Students presented the group projects they had developed - showcasing websites, applications, and creative tech-based solutions inspired by what they had learned during the program. Their presentations reflected not only improved communication and technical skills but also teamwork, problem-solving, and visionary thinking.
By the end of the program, students had expanded their global outlook, gained practical experience, and built lasting connections - preparing them to lead and innovate in the future of Uzbekistan’s tech sector.
