💫 Exploring Future Skills: Guest Sessions in Samarkand

📅 On August 7 and 9, 2025, as part of the Guest Speaker Series of the English for IT Summer Camp, participants at the Samarkand site enjoyed two inspiring sessions with leading professionals in the tech industry.

🎮 On August 7, Khakimov Kahramon Akramovich spoke on the theme “Gamification: Engaging through Play,” sharing how game-based approaches can boost creativity, motivation, and problem-solving in both education and business.

🖥️ On August 9, Gulamov Shakhram delivered a session on “IT Technologies and 3D Design: Future Professions,” highlighting emerging career paths and the skills needed to thrive in tomorrow’s digital world.

💫 Automating for Growth: Guest Session with Zafar Khoshimov

📅 On August 12, 2025, participants at the Tashkent site of the English for IT Summer Camp had the opportunity to meet Zafar Khoshimov, CEO of Korzinka, during an inspiring guest session noscriptd “Automating Business to Focus on Business.”

💡 Drawing from his experience leading one of Uzbekistan’s most successful retail chains, Mr. Khoshimov shared how strategic automation can free up time, improve efficiency, and allow businesses to focus on innovation and growth. Participants gained practical insights into how technology can drive both operational excellence and creative problem-solving in any industry.

📌 This session is part of the camp’s Guest Speaker Series - connecting students with leaders who bring real-world expertise, fresh perspectives, and actionable advice for their future careers.

💫 English for IT Summer Camp Concludes, Equipping Over 250 Students with Tech and Communication Skills for the Future

From July 28 to August 15, 2025, the English for IT Summer Camp brought together over 250 merit-based selected 9th–10th grade students from Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus for an intensive 17-day journey of learning, creativity, and collaboration.

Funded by the U.S. Government and implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with IT Park University, the program aimed to strengthen English language proficiency, IT skills, and leadership capacity among Uzbekistan’s rising generation of tech-minded learners.

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in:
📚 Core classes in English for IT, IT Skills, and Leadership Skills - all of which were intensive, interactive, and engaging
💡 Guest speaker sessions - over 10 engagements with local and international professionals from technology, education, and communication fields
🤝 Collaborative group projects that applied the knowledge and skills learned
🌐 Networking opportunities to connect with peers and professionals across regions

Through classes and guest speaker sessions, students also learned about global technology trends and explored U.S. opportunities for collaboration and education in the field of IT - inspiring them to think internationally and ambitiously.

The camp’s closing days were a celebration of achievement and innovation. Students presented the group projects they had developed - showcasing websites, applications, and creative tech-based solutions inspired by what they had learned during the program. Their presentations reflected not only improved communication and technical skills but also teamwork, problem-solving, and visionary thinking.

By the end of the program, students had expanded their global outlook, gained practical experience, and built lasting connections - preparing them to lead and innovate in the future of Uzbekistan’s tech sector.

💫 Highlights from the last days of the Camp

After nearly three weeks of learning, teamwork, and creativity, the English for IT Summer Camp 2025 has come to a heartfelt conclusion across all five sites - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, and Nukus.

🌟 On the final days, students proudly presented their projects - from innovative websites to tech-based solutions - showing how much they had grown in just 17 days. Winners were awarded, certificates were given to every participant, and smiles were shared as accomplishments were celebrated.

🍴 The last lunches, the group photos, the farewells with teachers and new friends - all became part of the unforgettable memories this camp created.

More than just classes, this camp was about:
🤝 Building lifelong friendships
🚀 Gaining new skills and confidence
Creating moments that will be remembered for years to come

Though the camp has ended, the impact will last far beyond these summer weeks - inspiring every student to continue learning, dreaming, and thinking boldly about the future.
