Hadith
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause." The questioner again asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" He replied, "To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca) 'Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah's pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet)."

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A woman was punished in Hell because of a cat which she had confined until it died. She did not give it to eat or to drink when it was confined, nor did she free it so that it might eat the vermin of the earth."

Ibn `Abbas commented, "Allah's favor means Muhammad ﷺ." Therefore, Allah has commanded the believers to affirm this favor and to appreciate it by thanking and remembering Him:
"Therefore, remember Me. I will remember you, and be grateful to Me, and never be ungrateful to Me."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle, that would be better for him than his touching a woman who is not permissible for him.”

In one of Shaykh Nāṣir's daring letters from prison, Shaykh Nāṣir said:
"Contrive anything you may wish against me, and give me no respite.
Conspire against me without delay. If you have anything more than
crucifixion and killing, then bring it up.
I don't care when I'm being killed as a Muslim, in which way I die for the
sake of Allāh
Because this is for Allah's Sake and if He wishes, He will bless my torn
limbs and broken joints."
