Ibn `Abbas commented, "Allah's favor means Muhammad ﷺ." Therefore, Allah has commanded the believers to affirm this favor and to appreciate it by thanking and remembering Him:
"Therefore, remember Me. I will remember you, and be grateful to Me, and never be ungrateful to Me."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle, that would be better for him than his touching a woman who is not permissible for him.”

In one of Shaykh Nāṣir's daring letters from prison, Shaykh Nāṣir said:
"Contrive anything you may wish against me, and give me no respite.
Conspire against me without delay. If you have anything more than
crucifixion and killing, then bring it up.
I don't care when I'm being killed as a Muslim, in which way I die for the
sake of Allāh
Because this is for Allah's Sake and if He wishes, He will bless my torn
limbs and broken joints."

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.

Abdullah ibn Buraydah said:
A man from the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) travelled to Fudalah ibn Ubayd when he was in Egypt.
He came to him and said: I have not come to you to visit you. But you and I heard a tradition from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I hope you may have some knowledge of it.
He asked: What is it? He replied: So and so. He said: Why do I see you dishevelled when you are the ruler of this land?
He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has forbidden us to indulge much in luxury.
He said: Why do I see you unshod? He replied: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to command us to go barefoot at times.
