Narrated Aisha (رضي الله عنها):
(Sahih al-Bukhari 1970, Sahih Muslim 1156)
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast until we would say he will not break his fast, and he used to not fast until we would say he will not fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) complete a month of fasting except for Ramadan, and I never saw him fast more in any month than in Sha‘bān.”

It's Sha'ban, the Month of Spiritual Preparation for Ramadan! 🌿
Allah chose us and has bestowed us with this blessing, while not all have reached this far. It is possible that it is because He loves us and wants to see us better ourselves, right? ♥
May Allah grant us to reach Ramadan.
Should we not use this extra time wisely in Tawbah, Inabah and holding on to every good that is within our reach? We don't know how long we have got, so should we not live for His Sake, and His Sake alone?
Should not our interactions with people be based on Wala and Bara only for His Sake and within the fold of His Shari'ah?
Should we not let go of whatever is not for His Sake; even anguish, anger, grudges? Should we not forgive and move on because we desperately need His Forgiveness more?
Is it still not time to live by Tawhid and die upon it alone, O beloved?
Remember, Allah blessed us from only some of His Creation and He knows what we are able to do. We got this, bi-idhnillah ☝️👊🤍

❝ A brother asked about the ruling on attending weddings without an invitation, and also about a woman attending a wedding uninvited.
If the person knows the wedding hosts approve, their attendance is permissible, though not recommended. However, if he is unsure of their approval, his attendance is prohibited. Such a person is considered “al-ṭufaylī”, as the jurists state.
Moreover, Ḥanbalī jurists, as stated in “Al-Mughnī”, rejected the testimony of someone who attends gatherings uninvited. Imām Ibn Qudāmah (may Allah have mercy on him) adopted this opinion, considering it reprehensible ṭufaylī behavior, because such a person consumes others' food without invitation, violates their rights, and enters their homes without permission.
So he mentions the tufayliyyūn who's testimony is rejected, and this view is the dominant position in the school of Imām Aḥmad.
Therefore, one must be warned from going to the homes of people without an invitation whilst not knowing that they'll be pleased with that.
Likewise, a woman is not to be given allowance to go to weddings without an invitation whilst they are not pleased with that, these people are al-ṭufayliyyūn, and in the school of Imām Aḥmad, their testimony is rejected. ❞

O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet’s houses, unless permission is given to you for a meal ˹and if invited for a meal˺, do not ˹come too early and˺ linger until the meal is ready. But if you are invited, then enter ˹on time˺. (33:53)
Ibn Kathīr said:
˹After general prohibition˺ Allah then brought exception upon it and stated “...unless permission is given to you for a meal, ˹and if invited for a meal˺, do not ˹come too early and˺ linger until the meal is ready....”
Mujāhid, Qatādah and others said: “That is, not waiting until the food is ready.” In other words, do not watch out for food, until it is almost ready, then you enter. This is something that Allah dislikes and condemns.
This indicates that al-Taṭfīl is forbidden, al-taṭfīl is what Arabs call when people are ḍayfān [i.e. impose on people without an invitation]
(The word al-ḍayfān means: The one who intrusively follows a guest; a person who enters an invitation by clinging to a guest who was invited).
Al-Khatīb Al-Baghdādī wrote a book condemning this, the act of Al-Ṭafīliyyīn , and mentioned more things about this topic than we can quote here.
—Tafsīr (6/454)
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn said: “… But if you know that your friend would be happy to see you, then this is not imposing on him; rather it is a type of kindness and humility on your part. There are many people for whom your coming without an invitation is something more beloved to him, and he will be very happy and will express his joy at that.” (Ash-Sharḥ al-Mumtiʿ 15/428). (More details, here)
Al-Bukhārī narrated in his Ṣaḥīḥ (5434) from Abū Masʿūd Al-Anṣārī, who said:
❝ There was a man called Abū Shuʿayb, and he had a slave who was a butcher. He said (to his slave), "Prepare a meal to which I may invite Allah's Messenger along with four other men." So he invited Allah's Messenger and four other men, but another man followed them whereupon the Prophet said (to Abū Shuʿayb),
«إِنَّكَ دَعَوْتَنَا خَامِسَ خَمْسَةٍ وَهَذَا رَجُلٌ قَدْ تَبِعَنَا، فَإِنْ شِئْتَ أَذِنْتَ لَهُ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ تَرَكْتَهُ»
"You have invited me as one of five guests, but now another man has followed us. If you wish you can admit him, and if you wish you can refuse him."
On that the host said, "But I admit him."

Enter Jannah without Reckoning due to Perfection of Tawhid 🌿✨
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله تعالى said:
That is because these people will enter Paradise without being called to account because of the perfection of their Tawheed, therefore he described them as people who did not ask others to perform ruqyah for them. Hence he said “and they put their trust in their Lord.” Because of their complete trust in their Lord, their contentment with Him, their faith in Him, their being pleased with Him and their seeking their needs from Him, they do not ask people for anything, be it ruqyah or anything else, and they are not influenced by omens and superstitions that could prevent them from doing what they want to do, because superstition detracts from and weakens Tawheed. Fasting the month of Sha’bān – A neglected Sunnah
——————
Narrated Abu Sa`īd (رضي الله عنه ):
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Indeed, anyone who fasts for one day for Allāh's Pleasure, Allāh will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years."
[Sahihayn]
‘Ā’ishah (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا) said:
“The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) used to fast all of Sha’bān, he used to fast Sha’bān except a few days.”
[Muslim (1156)]
Al-Nawawī (رحمه الله) said: In the words, “He used to fast all of Sha’bān, he used to fast Sha’bān except a few days” the second phrase explains the first, and indicates that the word “all” means “most of”.
——————
Virtuous times like these should be taken advantage of in hastening towards good deeds.
Ibn Hajar (رحمه الله) said: "He (ﷺ) observed more voluntary fasts in Sha’bān than in any other month, and he used to fast most of Sha’bān."
Ibn Rajab (رحمه الله) said: "Fasting in Sha’bān is better than fasting in the Sacred Months, and the best of voluntary fasts are those that are (observed in the months) closest to Ramadān, before or after. The status of these fasts is like that of al-Sunan al-Rawātib which are done before and after Fardh and which make up for any shortfall in the number of obligatory prayers. The same applies to fasts observed before and after Ramadān. Just as al-Sunan Al-Rawātib are better than other kinds of voluntary prayers, so fasts observed before and after Ramadān are better than fasts at other times."

Al-Nawawī (رحمه الله) said: In the words, “He used to fast all of Sha’bān, he used to fast Sha’bān except a few days” the second phrase explains the first, and indicates that the word “all” means “most of”.
