A night better than a thousand years 🤍✨️
Prophet ﷺ said,
"Seek Laylatul Qadr in the last ten nights. If one among you shows slackness and weakness in the earlier part of Ramadan, it should not be allowed to prevail upon him in the last week."
[Muslim 2621]
➿️➿️➿️➿️➿️➿️➿️➿️➿️
Ibn al Qayyim reported,
"On that night, every precise matter is made distinct" [Quran 44:4]
The decrees for the entire year are inscribed on Laylatul Qadr. Everything that will happen in the coming year relating to sustenance, marriage, and rainfall, down to the names of the pilgrims. Even life and death. You may see a man strolling through shops, unaware that his name has already been inscribed among the dead.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
There are two kinds of meetings between friends:
The first kind is a meeting based on sociability and spending time, in which there are more disadvantages than advantages, the least of which is the corruption of the heart, and wasting time.
The second kind is a meeting for the sake of supporting one another, and recommending one another to the truth and to patience. This is the best kind, yet there are still three disadvantages therein;
1. Flattering each other
2. Being excessively talkative
3. That such meetings become a habit or routine and they fail to achieve their aims
In general, the result of social meetings will be derived from the source, which is either for the soul inclined to evil, or for the heart and the peaceful soul. If the source is good, surely the fruit will also be good. Pure souls derive their nature from their Lord, while evil ones derive their nature from the devil. Hence, Allah, the Exalted and Ever Majestic, renders good women for good men and bad men for bad women.

Allahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amal alladhi yuballighuni hubbaka.
Allahumma aj‘al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi wa ahli wa minal ma’il barid.
“O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deeds that will bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and even cold water.”

I should have done more. I shouldn’t have wasted my time. These are regrets we are all familiar with.
However, we still have precious hours remaining. Let us make the most of them.
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Indeed, deeds are only judged by their endings” (Bukhārī).
