اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَن يُحِبُّكَ، وَالعَمَلَ الَّذِي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ.
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِن نَفْسِي، وَأَهْلِي، وَمِنَ المَاءِ البَارِدِ.

Allahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amal alladhi yuballighuni hubbaka.
Allahumma aj‘al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi wa ahli wa minal ma’il barid.

“O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the deeds that will bring me closer to Your love.
O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family, and even cold water.”

• Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3490
• Classified as Hasan (good) by Imam al-Tirmidhi.

I should have done more. I shouldn’t have wasted my time. These are regrets we are all familiar with.

However, we still have precious hours remaining. Let us make the most of them.

The Prophet ﷺ said, “Indeed, deeds are only judged by their endings” (Bukhārī).
