Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
It was said:
“I will remain patient in order to please You (Oh Allāh), even though my sorrow kills me. It suffices me that You are pleased, even though my patience kills me.”

Do not hesitate about returning to Allah
Despite your mistakes and no matter how sinful you might be, for if He covered (protected) you under the roof of sin
He will not expose you under the wing of repentance.

Aal-e-Imran 3:193
رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًۭا يُنَادِى لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَـَٔامَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die among the righteous.
އޭ އަޅަމެންގެ ربّ އެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އީމާންކަމަށް ގޮވާލައްވާ ބޭކަލެއްގެ އަޑު އަޅަމެން އަހައިފީމުއެވެ. އެބޭކަލަކު ވިދާޅުވެއެވެ. އޭ ކަލޭމެންނޭވެ! ކަލޭމެން ކަލޭމެންގެ ربّ އަށް އީމާންވާށެވެ! ދެންފަހެ އަޅަމެން އީމާންވެއްޖައީމެވެ. ފަހެ އަޅަމެންނަށް އަޅަމެންގެ ފާފަތައް ފުއްސަވާދެއްވާނދޭވެ! އަދި އަޅަމެންގެ އެންމެހައި ކުށްތަކާއި ނުބައިތައް ނެތިކުރައްވާ ދުރުކުރައްވާނދޭވެ! އަދި ރަނގަޅު މާތްމީހުނާއެކު (އެބަހީ އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ ރުހިވޮޑިގަންނަވާ ކިޔަމަންތެރި އަޅުންނާއެކު) އަޅަމެން މަރުގަންނަވާފާދޭވެ!
