🌙 The More You Know Allah… The More You Love Him
The heart naturally loves the One it knows.
And when you truly know Allah — His mercy, His wisdom, His justice, His nearness — your heart cannot help but fall in love with Him.
The more you learn His Names and Attributes…
The more your Imaan (faith) grows.
The more your reliance deepens.
The more your heart finds peace and contentment.
And the more you find sincerity and purpose, until you reach a point where you taste the sweet and delightful taste of faith wherein your entire life is dedicated to Allah. This is not for everyone except those whom Allah has bestowed His bounty and grace upon.
Allah says:
“And they will say: ‘Praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this; we would never have been guided had Allah not guided us.’”
— (Surat al-A’raf, verse 43)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine Names. Whoever knows them (and acts upon them) will enter Paradise.”

Imam Jamil Al-Amin passed away today while still confined within the prison walls. Like his companion, Imam Luqman Abdullah, who preceded him, these were men who, in shā’Allāh, remained steadfast and true to their covenant with Allāh. They stood in stark contrast to many other “imams” in the West, who faltered and compromised.
Though they may not have been formally recognized as ulama, they—in shā’Allāh—acted upon the knowledge they possessed, which is what truly matters. نَحْسُبُهُمْ كَذَلِك، وَاللَّهُ حَسِيبُهُمْ، وَلَا نُزَكِّي عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَدًا. Even amid his suffering, Imam Jamil remained thoughtful, conveying his salām to me through some who were in touch with him.
May Allāh forgive them both, envelop them in His infinite mercy, illuminate their graves with radiant light, and elevate their ranks among the righteous.

Ruling on Saying Bismillah Aloud Before Eating
Question: Is it necessary to raise one's voice when saying "Bismillah" before eating, or is it permissible to say it silently?
Answer:
It is not necessary to say the Basmalah (Bismillah) aloud before eating. If a person says it silently, he has fulfilled the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to mention the Name of Allah before eating. However, the minimum requirement is to move his tongue with it, even if he does not raise his voice.
However, it is better for him to say it aloud so that he may remind people [who may have forgotten] and teach the ignorant.
Ibn Ḥajar Al-Haytamī, was asked about the reason why some scholars ⁽¹⁾ said it is recommended to say the Basmalah aloud when eating, and to say the Praise (Alhamdulillah) silently when finishing. He replied:
"The reason the pronouncement of the Basmalah is prescribe to be done aloud is to alert the other eaters to it, and to signal the start of eating [meaning, if he is the leader of the group, they do not eat until he begins]. This is unlike the Ḥamd (saying Alhamdulillah or praising Allah after eating), for there might be some among them who have not finished yet. Therefore, if he knows they have all finished and are satisfied, in such a case it is recommended for him to say it aloud, to remind them. And since that situation is not found in drinking [i.e., what is usual is that having a sip will start or end not as a group, so there is no one to be reminded about the Basmalah], he has the choice between saying it aloud or secretly, unless he is a scholar who is followed (an example), in which case it is recommended for him to say it aloud (in order to teach), as is apparent, so that those with him may know the Sunnah." —End of quote from "Al-Fatāwā Al-Kubrā" (4/51).

*Alhamdulillah.*
You opened your eyes today. You’re breathing. You’re alive. That alone is a blessing that millions didn’t receive this morning. So don’t sit down and tell yourself nothing is working. Wallahi, if Allah gave you life today, He’s telling you there’s still hope, there’s still a path, and there’s still something worth striving for.
*Today can be better than yesterday, but only if you stop repeating yesterday’s mistakes.*
Don’t expect a new result with the same old habits. Don’t pray for change while walking straight back into the things that broke you. Allah isn’t asking you for perfection, only effort, sincerity, and a heart that keeps returning to Him.
And let’s be real…
Some days you feel broken.
Some days you feel drained.
Some days you can’t even explain what’s wrong, you just feel heavy.
But listen carefully:
*You’re not beyond repair. You’re not forgotten. You’re not abandoned.*
You’re just human and your soul is begging you to turn back to the One who created it.
You say you’re depressed?
You say life feels tight?
You say the world feels heavy on your chest?
Then do the one thing Allah Himself told you will bring relief:
*Istighfaar.*
Yes ➖ simple, consistent, sincere istighfaar.
When anger burns in your chest ➖ say *Astaghfirullah*.
When sadness clouds your mind ➖ say *Astaghfirullah*.
When confusion overwhelms you ➖ say *Astaghfirullah*.
When everything around you feels like it’s falling apart ➖ say *Astaghfirullah* again and again.
Because *istighfaar is not a word. It is a lifeline.*
It washes your heart.
It softens what life has hardened.
It pulls mercy from the heavens.
It opens doors you didn’t even know existed.
It transforms the impossible into the easiest thing in the world.
Wallahi, Allah can rewrite your entire life with one sincere moment of “Ya Rabb, forgive me.”
And don’t you dare forget…
The things that look impossible to you are not even difficult for Him.
When every door closes on you, *He opens doors no eye has ever seen.*
When hope fades, *He plants miracles in the darkest soil.*
When you feel stuck, suffocated, and lost, *He rearranges the universe in a way you never expected.*
Your prayers? He heard them.
Your tears? He counted every one.
Your silent struggles, the ones nobody knows about? He sees them.
And He, *the Most Merciful, the Most Generous* is never late.
So hold on.
Tighten your grip.
Don’t let despair convince you that your story is over.
Because the Lord who split the sea for Musa...
The Lord who brought Yunus out of the belly of the whale...
The Lord who made fire cool for Ibrahim...
Is the same Lord taking care of you right now.
He is orchestrating things you can’t see.
He is preparing goodness you can’t imagine.
He is fixing matters you didn’t even realize were broken.
So breathe.
Take a step.
Clean your heart with istighfaar.
And trust the Lord of the impossible.
Because your miracle is not in the future.
It’s already written and it’s already on its way to you.
