Umar on trustworthiness:

It is reported that ʿUmar b. Al-Khaṭṭāb – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

Do not expose yourself to what does not concern you, stay away from your enemy, beware of [taking as] your friend anyone except the trustworthy amongst people – and there is no one who is trustworthy except one who fears Allāh; and do not accompany the sinner in case you learn his sinfulness, and do not let him know your secrets, and consult those who fear Allāh for your affairs.

Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Everything has a reality, and the servant will not reach the reality of faith until he knows that what afflicted him could never miss him, and that what missed him could never have afflicted him.”

Al-Masad - 111:5


"In her neck is a twisted rope of palm fiber, [i.e. the chain which is in the Fire (of Hell)]." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, The Book of Interpretation, Surat 111, Chapter 4).

[Imam Qurtubi says in the Tafsir of the (V.17:45):]

Narrated Sa'id bin Jubair [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: "When Surah No. 111 (Surat Al-Masad) was revealed, the wife of Abu Lahab came looking out for the Prophet (ﷺ) while Abu Bakr [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu] was sitting beside him. Abu Bakr said to the Prophet (ﷺ) : 'I wish if you get aside (or go away) as she is coming to us, she may harm you.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'There will be a screen set between me and her.' So, she did not see him . She said to Abu Bakr: 'Your companion is saying poetry against me.' Abu Bakr said: 'By Allah he does not say poetry.' She said: 'Do you believe that.' Then she left. Abu Bakr said, 'O Allah's Messenger! She did not see you.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'An angel was screening me from her.' " [This Hadith is quoted in Musnad Abu Ya'la]

It is said that if the Verse (V.17:45) is recited by a real believer (of Islamic Monotheism) he will be screened from a disbeliever. (Allah knows better.)

Al-Isra' 17:45
وَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ جَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسۡتُورًا

And when you (Muhammad SAW) recite the Quran, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil (or screen their hearts, so they hear or understand it not).

ކަލޭގެފާނު قرآن ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވާހިނދު، ކަލޭގެފާނާއި، آخرة ދުވަހަށް إيمان ނުވާމީހުންނާ ދެމެދު ނިވައިކުރަނިވި ފަރުދާއެއް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ލެއްވީމެވެ.

A reminder for those who are suffering from sadness or a hardship

❝The Qur'an absorbs sadness (and grief) from the heart like a sponge. If you read the Qur'an while sorrowful (and disheartened), it will bandage you. And if you read it while joyful (and delighted), it will multiply your happiness.❞

And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).
And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things. (65:2-3)

O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). (2:153)

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ
Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope.
(2:238)

إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin

“There is no god but You, exalted are You! Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”

(Surah Al Anbiya, 21:87)

إِنِّى عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِى بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِىَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِىَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِى كِتَابِكَ أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِى عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِى وَنُورَ صَدْرِى وَجَلاَءَ حُزْنِى وَذَهَابَ هَمِّى

O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your male servant, and son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your Hand. Your command for me prevails. Your judgement concerning me is just. I beseech You through every name You have, by which You have called Yourself, or which You have sent down in Your Book, or which You have taught to any one of Your creations, or which You have preferred to keep to Yourself among Your guarded secrets, to make the Great Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my eyes, the remedy of my grief, and the dispeller of my anxiety.

Anything can be a soldier of Allah

A spider was a soldier of Allah, it’s web blocked the entrance to the cave, which kept the enemies of Allah from Muhammad ﷺ and Abu bakr RA
Water can be a soldier of Allah, that’s what destroyed firaun
A mosquito can be a soldier of Allah, it destroyed an namrud
The earth could be a soldier of Allah, it swallowed qaroon
Wind can be a soldier of Allah, it destroyed A’ad
Lightning (Thunderbolt) can be a soldier of Allah, it destroyed Thamud

No one knows the soldiers of Allah, but He.
