And what did he and his family eat? A whole month would pass without the glow of fire appearing in his house, and they would mostly live off of dates and water. ‘Aishah describes to us what they used to receive of meat from time to time, saying, “Luhaym” (i.e. small bit of meat)” due to its small amount!
At-Tabari mentions, “The choice of the Messenger of Allah and that of the Salaf, from the Companions and the Tabi’in, to live a life of austerity and to be patient with the bitterness of poverty and endure the coarseness of their clothing and food, despite it being little and despite the sweetness and comfort of being wealthy, demonstrates the virtues of zuhd in regards to the Dunya and the taking of its provisions, especially in regards to what suffices for living. Our Prophet used to spend his days with a rock tied to his stomach due to hunger, an indication of his austere living and his patience upon that despite his knowledge that if he asked his Lord to send for him mountains of gold and silver, He would have done so. And so upon this path the righteous proceeded.”
By Allah, O Muslimah, contemplate the statement of Umm Salamah where she states, “In the time of the Messenger of Allah, there would befall us our monthly menstruation. Each one of us would spend days on her menstruation and then purify herself and then examine the garment that she was wearing. If it was stained by blood, we would wash it and then pray wearing it, and if it had not been affected by anything we would leave it and he would not forbid that we pray wearing it” (Reported by Abu Dawud). Subhan Allah! Here was a woman of the best generation that most likely didn’t own more than one garment, in times of menstruation and times of washing, while the homes of the women of our ummah today are almost declaring what is inside of clothing and adornments.
One might say, “I see only that you are prohibiting what Allah has permitted, and He loves to see the signs of His blessings on His slaves!” To that we say: refuge is sought with Allah that we prohibit His good things which He has granted His slaves. However, this is a call to follow the best of the creation and zuhd is the jewel of the true believer, he in whose eyes the worldly life is insignificant and in whose heart the Hereafter is magnified. Allah loves to see the signs of His blessings upon His slaves, not the signs of excessiveness and waste, and does not love to see the wife fatiguing her husband by requesting everything she craves despite his inability to provide that. We are calling the women towards adorning themselves with this fine jewel.
We, likewise, would like to take this opportunity to warn against the consequences of being stingy with regard to one’s family. It is upon the Muslim husband to spend upon his wife and children with what is known to be good, without excessiveness and without negligence, and when he spends, it should be in accordance with his capacity, thereby arriving at a virtuous station without becoming a brother to Shaytan. So let not one have wealth yet behave tight-fisted with his family, and let one consider his reward for every mouthful he feeds his family and every delight that enters their hearts, and Allah is All-Knowing of what was intended. Likewise, he should not, at times of financial difficulty, overburden himself with what he cannot bear, seeking the approval of a wife who doesn’t consider his circumstances or show mercy towards his weakness.
Our final call is praise be to Allah, the Lord of the creation, and may Allah’s blessings and peace descend on the leader of the prophets and messengers, and on his family and companions.

ޝެއިޚް ޢަބްދު الله އައްސަޢްދު ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ:
"ހުކުރު ދުވަހު ކަހްފު ސޫރަތް ކިޔެވުމަށް ވާ ރިވާޔަތަކީ ހުޝައިމް ފަރާތުން އައިސްފައިވާ ރިވާޔަތެކެވެ.
އަދި ސުފްޔާން އާއި ޝުޢްބާ އަރިހުން "ހުކުރު ދުވަސް" ކަމަށް ނަން ނުގެނެވި އައިސްފައި ވެއެވެ. މި އިތުރުވެފައިވާ ތަން ކޮޅު (ހުކުރު ދުވަސް ކަމަށް ބުނެވުން) މީގައި (ރިވާޔަތުގައި) ބަލިކަށި ކަމެއް ވެއެވެ. އަދި ގިނަ ބައިގަނޑު ރިވާ ކުރި ގޮތް (ހުކުރު ދުވަހަށް ޚާއްސަ ނުކޮށް) މިއީ ބޮޑަށް ޞައްޙަ ގޮތެވެ.
އެހެނަސް ބަޔެއް މީހުންނަށް، މިކަން އެންގުމުން ކަހްފު ސޫރަތް ކިޔެވުން ދޫކޮއްލައި، ހުކުރު ދުވަހަކުވެސް ނޫނީ އެނޫން ދުވަހަކުވެސް އެކިޔެވުމަށް ނޫޅެ އެވެ. އަދި ފަހެ، ހުކުރު ދުވަހު އެ ކިޔެވުމުގައި މައްސަލަޔެއް ނެތެވެ. އެއީ ދެ ހެޔޮކަން އޭގައި އެއްކުރާ ގޮތުގަ އެވެ.

📌ސަބަބަކާ ނުލައި ވަރިޔަށް އެދުމާއި ދެމަފިރިން ދެމެދަށް ވަނުމުގެ ނުބައިކަަން
— އައްޝެއިޚް އަލްމުޙައްދިޘް ޢަބްދުލް ޢަޒީޒް އަލްޚުޟައިރު

• ޙަދީޘް 1
ثوبان أن النبي ﷺ قال: أَيُّمَا امْرَأَة سَأَلتْ زَوْجهَا طَلاقًا في غَيْر مَا بَأْس فَحَرامٌ عَليْهَا رَائِحَةُ الجَنَّة.
ޘަޥްބާން رضي الله عنه އަރިހުން، ރަސޫލު ﷲ ﷺ ޙަދީޘްކުރެއްވިއެވެ: ”އެއްވެސް ތުރައަކާ ނުލައި އޭނާގެ ފިރިމީހާގެ ކިބައިން ވަރިއަށްއެދޭ އަންހެނެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ސުވަރުގޭގެ ވަސް ޙަރާމްވެގެންވެއެވެ.“
ރިވާކުރެއްވީ الخمسة ⁽¹⁾ އެހެނަސް އައްނަސާއީ ފިޔަވައެވެ. އެއީ ޙައްމާދު، ޢައްޔޫބު އަރިހުން، އަބޫ ޤިލާބާ އަރިހުން، އަބީ އަސްމާއު އަރިހުން، މިގޮތަށެވެ.
އަދި އޭގެ ސަނަދު ޞައްޙަ އެވެ. ރާވީންތައް ޘިއްޤާ އެވެ. (އިތުބާރުގެ ރާވީންނެވެ.) ޙުއްފާޡުން (ޙަދީޘް ޢިލްމުގެ އިހުގެ އިމާމުން) އެއަށް ރުއްސެވިއެވެ. އަދި މިރިވާޔަތް ވަނީ ޢަބޫ ދާވޫދު އާއި އިބްނު ޖާރޫދު އާއި އިބްނު ޙިއްބާން ޞައްޙަ ކުރައްވާފައެވެ.⁽²⁾
އަދި އައްތިރުމިޛީ ގައިވާ ރިވާޔަތެއްގައި، އެއީ ވެސް ޘަޥްބާން އަރިހުން، އައިސްފައިވެއެވެ: «الْمُخْتلِعَاتُ هُنَّ الْمُنَافِقَات» ”ޚުލްޢަ ކުރާ އަންހެނުންނަކީ މުނާފިޤުންނެވެ.“ އަބޫ އީސާ (އައްތިރުމިޛީ) މިރިވާޔަތް ޟަޢީފު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. މިހެން ވިދާޅުވެއެވެ: ”މި ބީދާއިން މިޙަދީޘްް ޣަރީބު އެެވެ. އަދި އޭގެ ސަނަދު ވަރުގަދަކޮށެއް ނުވެއެވެ.“ އަދި ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ: ”އެކަލޭގެފާނު — އެބަހީ އަލްބުޚާރީ — އަރިހު އެއާއިމެދު އަހަރެން ސުވާލު ދެންނެވީމެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެ އެނގިނުލައްވައެވެ.“ އަދި އަލްބައްޒާރު ވެސް އެ ބަލިކަށި ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.
އަދި މިޙަދީޘް، އަބޫ ހުރައިރާ رضي الله عنه އަރިހުން އަލްޙަސަން (އަލްބަޞްރީ) ރިވާކުރެއްވި ގޮތުގައި އައިސްފައި ވެއެެވެ. އެހެނަސް އަލްޙަސަން އަބޫ ހުރައިރާ އަރިހުން (ރިވާޔަތްތައް) އަޑުއައްސަވައި ނުލައްވައެވެެ.
އަދި (ޝަރުޢީ) ސަބަބަކާއި ނުލައި އެކަނބުލޭގެ ފިރިމީހާގެ އެހެން އަންބެއް ވަރި ކުރުމަށް އެދިއްޖެ މީހާ، ޘަޥްބާން ގެ މިޙަދީޘުގައިވާ ވަޢީދުގެ ތެރެއަށް ވަދެދާނޭ ކަމާއި މެދު އަހަރެން ބިރުވެތިވަމެވެ.
• ޙަދީޘް 2
އަދި އަބޫ ހުރައިރާ އަރިހުން، ނަބިއްޔު ﷺ ޙަދީޘް ކުރެއްވިޔޭ: لَا يَحِل لِامْرأَة
تَسأَل طلاق أُختها، لِتسْتفرِغَ صَحْفتهَا، فإِنما لها مَا قُدر لها. ”އަންހެނަކު ކާތަށި ހުސްކޮށް ބޭއްވުމަށް (އެބަހީ: ފިރިހެެންމީހާގެ މުދާ އެއްކޮށް ހޯދުމަށް) އެދި، އެކަނބުލޭގެ އުޚްތާ ވަރިކުރުމަށް އެދި ބުނުން ހުއްދަވެގެން ނުވެއެވެ. ފަހެ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ޤަދަރުގައި އޭނާ އަށް ލިޔެވިގެންވާއެއްޗެއް އޭނާއަށް (ގައިމުވެސް) ވެއެވެ.“ ދެބޭކަލުން އިއްތިފާޤުވެލެއްވި. (އަލްބުޚާރީ އާއި މުސްލިމް).
އެދެރިވާޔަތުގައި ވެސް ވަނީ: ”އަންހެނަކު... އެކަނބުލޭގެ އުޚްތާ ވަރިކުރުމަށް އެދި ބުނުން ހުއްދަވެގެން ނުވެއެވެ.“ މިހެންނެވެ.
އަދި މުސްލިމް ގެ ރިވާޔަތުގައި: فَإِنَّ الله رَازِقُهَا ”އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އެކަނބުލޭގެ އަށް ރިޒްޤު ދެއްވާ ފަރާތަކީ ﷲ އެވެ.“
އަދި މީގެެ މުރާދަކީ: ކައިވެނި ކުރާ އަންހެނާ ފިރިމީހާ އިނދެގެން ހުރި އަންހެނުން ވަރި ކުރުމަށް ނުބުނުމެވެ.
އަދި "އުޚްތު" ގެ މުރާދަކީ ދީނުގައި އުޚްތެވެ.

އަދި އަބޫ ހުރައިރާ އަރިހުން، ވިދާޅުވިއޭ: ރަސޫލު ﷲ ﷺ ޙަދީޘް ކުރެއްވިއެވެ: لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ خَبَّبَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى زَوْجِهَا أَوْ عَبْدًا عَلَى سَيِّدِهِ. ”އަންހެނެއް އޭނާގެ ފިރިމީހާ އާއި ދެކޮޅުވެރި ކުރުވާ މީހަކީ އަހަރެމެން ގެ ތެރެއިން ވާ މީހެއް ނޫނެވެ. ނުވަތަ އަޅެއް އޭނާގެ ޞާޙިބުވެރިޔާ އާއި ދެކޮޅުވެރި ކުރުވާ މީހަކީވެސް މެއެވެ.“ — ރިވާކުރެއްވީ، އަބޫ ދާވޫދު އަދި އައްނަސާއީ ވަރުގަދަ ސަނަދަކުންނެވެ.
خَبَّبَ : އެބަހީ: ފަސާދަ ކުރުވުމާއި ކެހިވެރި ކުރުވުމެވެ. އަދި އެބަހުގެ އަޞްލަކީ الخَبّ އެވެ. އެއީ الخِدَاع އެެވެ. އޮޅުވައިލުމާއި ކެހިވެރި ކަމެވެ.
އަދި މީގެެ މުރާދަކީ: (އެމަގުސަދުގައި) އެކަނބުލޭގެ ފިރިމީހާގެ ކުށް ތައް ޛިކުރު ކުރުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ ބީރައްޓެއްސެއްގެެ ހެޔޮތަކެވެ.
އަދި މިޙަދީޘް مَلْعُونٌ (ލައުނަތް ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންނޭ) އަދި لَعَنَ مَنْ خَبَّبَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى زَوْجِهَا ”އޭނާގެ ފިރިމީހާ އާއި ދެކޮޅުވެރި ކުރުވާ މީހަކަށް ލަޢުނަތް ވެޔޭ“ މިދެގޮތަށް ވެސް ވާރިދުވެފައި ވެއެވެ.. އަދި އަސާސީ ފޮތްތަކުގައި މީގެ އަޞްލެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އެ ރިވާކުރެއްވީ އަލްޙާފިޡު އައްޛަހަބީ އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ފޮތް "އަލްކަބާއިރު" ގައެވެ. ސަނަދަކާއި ނުލައްވައެވެ.
އަދި އިހުބަޔާން ކުރެެވުނު (މިޙަދީޘް ގެެ އަޞްލު) ޢަބޫ ދާވޫދާއި އައްނަސާއި އަދި އެނޫން ބަލޭކަލުން އަރިހުން (ރިވާވެ) ޞައްޙަވެގެން ވެއެވެ.
• ޙަދީޘް 4
ޖާބިރު އަރިހުން، ނަބިއްޔު ﷺ ޙަދީޘް ކުރެއްވިޔޭ:
إن إبْليِس يَضعُ عرْشه على الماء، ثم يبعث سَراياهُ، فأدناهم منه منزلة أعظمهم فتْنة، يَجيءُ أحدهم فيقول: فعلت كذا وكذا، فيقول: ما صنعت شيئًا، قال: ثم يَجيء أحدهم فيقول: مَا تركته حتى فَرقتُ بينه وبين امْرأته، قال: فَيُدنيهِ منهُ ويقول: نِعْمَ أنت.
”ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އިބިލީސް އޭނާގެ ތަހުތު ފެނުގެ މަތީގައި ބަހައްޓައެވެ. އެއަށްފަހު އޭނާގެ އައުވާނުން (މީސްތަކުންގެ ތެރޭގައި ފިތުނަ އުފެއްދުމަށް) ފޮނުވައެވެ. ފަހެ، އޭގެތެރެއިން އިބިލީހާއި އެންމެ އަރިސް އެއްޗަކީ އެންމެ ފިތުނަބޮޑުމީހާއެވެ. އޭގެތެރެއިން އެއްޗެއް އައިސް ބުނެއެވެ. ”ތިމަންނަ އެވެނި މިވެނި ކަމެއް ކުރީމެވެ.“ ދެން އިބިލީސް ބުނެއެވެ. ”ކަލެއަކަށް ކަމެއް ނުވިއެވެ.“ ރަސޫލު ﷲ ﷺ ޙަދީޘްކުރެއްވިއެވެ: ”އެއަށްފަހު އަނެއްކާވެސް އޭގެތެރެއިން އެއްޗެއް އައިސް ބުނެއެވެ: ”ތިމަންނާ މީހަކު އޭނާގެ (އަނބީހާއާއި ދޭތެރޭ ފިތުނަ އުފައްދައި އޭނާއާއި އޭނާގެ) އަނބިމީހާއާ ވަކިކޮށްފައި މެނުވީ އޭނަ ދޫނުކުރަމެވެ.“ ދެން އިބިލީސް އޭތީގެ ގާތަށް ގޮސް ބުނެއެވެ. ”ކަލޭގެ މޮޅުކަމާއެވެ!“ ރަސޫލުﷲ ﷺ ޙަދީޘްކުރެއްވިއެވެ: ”ދެން އިބިލީސް އޭނާ އަރިސްކުރެއެވެ.“ — ރިވާކުރެއްވީ މުސްލިމް.
— އައްޝެއިޚް އަލްމުޙައްދިޘް ޢަބްދުލް ޢަޒީޒް އަލްޚުޟައިރު (ޓުވިޓަރ ތެރެޑް)

އަދި އިހުބަޔާން ކުރެެވުނު (މިޙަދީޘް ގެެ އަޞްލު) ޢަބޫ ދާވޫދާއި އައްނަސާއި އަދި އެނޫން ބަލޭކަލުން އަރިހުން (ރިވާވެ) ޞައްޙަވެގެން ވެއެވެ.

އަލްއަޙްވަޛީ ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ: «ސުވަރުގޭގެ ވަސް ޙަރާމްވެގެންވެއެވެ.» އެބަހީ: އޭނާގެ މައްޗަށް އެ މަނައު ވެެގެން ވުމެވެ. އަދި މި އިބާރާތަކީ ވަޢީދެއް ގޮތުގައި ބުނެވޭ އިބާރާތެކެވެ. އަދި އިންޒާރުގެ ބޮޑުކަން ހާމަކުރުމަށެވެ. ނުވަތަ މިކަން ވުންް ވަނީ އޭގެ ދަނޑިވަޅު ނޫން ދަނޑިވަޅެއްގައި ކަމެވެ. އެބަހީ، މުޙުސިނުތަކުންނަށް ޖަންނަތުގެ ވަސް ދުވާ ފުރަަތަމަ ދަނޑިވަޅުގައި އޭނާ އަށް އެވަސް ނުދުވުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އަޞްލަށް ވެސް ނުދުވުމެވެ. އަދި މިއީ މިއިންޒާރުގެ ބޮޑުކަން ހާމަކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުންނެވެ. އަދި މިއާ އެއްފަދަ ޤަޥްލުރަތައް ބައިވަރެެވެ. އަލްޤާޟީ ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ: އަލްޤާރީ ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ: އަދި ޖަންނަތަށް ވަދެވުނަސް އޭގެ ވަހުގެ ލައްޒަތުން އެކަނބުލޭގެ މަޙުރޫމު ވުން އަޖައިބުވަނިވިއެއް ނޫނެވެ. انتهى. (ތުޙްފަތުލް އަޙްވަޛީ 4/367 ، ދާރުލް ފިކްރުގެ ޗާޕް)
އަދި البأس އާއި މެދު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ: (من غير بأس) ”އެއްވެސް ތުރައެއް ނެތި“ އެބަހީ: ވަކިވާން އެދެންޖެހުމަށް ދާންޖެހޭ، ވަރުގަދަ މަޖުބޫރިއްޔަތެއް އެކަނބުލޭގެއަށް ނެތް ޙާލުގައެވެ. اهـ (ތުޙްފަތުލް އަޙްވަޛީ 4/366 ، ދާރުލް ފިކްރުގެ ޗާޕް)
