From the Manners of a Wife with her
Husband
It is reported that the wife of Imam Said b. Al-Musayyib - Allah have mercy on him - said:
We only ever used to speak to our husbands like you address your commanders and lead-ers: [we would supplicate for them when talking to them] "May Allah keep you right!"
"May Allah keep you well!"
Abú Nu'aym, Hilyatu Al-Awliyã' 5:198.
After the death of his wife Umm Salih, Imam Ahmad - Allah have mercy on them, used to praise her. He once said:
In the thirty years she was with me, we never had a single word of disagreement.
Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi, Tärikh Baghdād
16:626.

Your deen is upon your akhlaq. No matter how much of the Qur'an you have memorised, how many sunnah & nafl prayers you fullfil, how much Islamic knowledge you have, if you lack basic manners & virtue, especially the way you treat people, you lack the basic foundation of true imaan ~

The truth about the people around us, only Allah knows. Therefore alwavs say:
"Allah lead me to him/her who wants good for me and distracted me from those who want bad for me"

Seeking forgiveness from those you have wronged:
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله:
“Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his blood, his wealth or his honour, let him come and set matters straight before there comes a Day on which there will be no dirhams and no dinars, only good deeds and bad deeds, and if he has good deeds (they will be taken and given to the one whom he wronged), otherwise some of the bad deeds of the one whom he wronged will be taken and added to his burden, then he will be thrown into the Fire.”

O’ Allah surround me with righteous companions who are more knowledgeable, so that I may benefit from them.
O’ Allah distance me from those You are not pleased with, so that my character and deeds may not be corrupted by them.

The Week Before Ramadhān
| Shaykh Ahmad Jibril
“The week before Ramadhān is the most crucial week probably... the Shaytān is gonna be shackled... You know what he’s gonna do in this week? When someone’s going to jail and he’s bad, he’s gonna do all the worst things he can imagine, before he goes.”
— Shaykh AMJ
Before Ramadhān comes, do your best to repent from all sins, clean your heart from all grudges towards Muslims, end all disputes and arguments with people, and cut off from everything that will distract you and take away from your focus and worship in the precious moments of Ramadhān. Purify yourself and your surroundings now, so that you can enter Ramadhān in a high and good state of īmān, and reap its rewards and blessings more than ever, in shā Allāh.
