Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said:
"O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you.”
[Sahih Muslim 2577]

Crazy how we'd all be so
embarassed if people knew about our sins. Yet we comfortably sin knowing Allah is aware of it all.
Afraid of the creation, but not the Creator ~

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim: (May Allah have mercy on him)
Quran: Quality over Quantity
"If the people knew the sweetness, and benefits in pondering over the Quran when reading it, they would have kept themselves busy with nothing else but reading Quran.
For reading and pondering over one verse is better than a khatma (completion of the whole Quran) without contemplation nor understanding. It's also more beneficial to the heart, attains Iman and makes one taste the sweetness of the Quran."

When you're making dua (supplicating), remember you are talking to the One who can bring a dead heart back to life again.
Whether your heart is sad, hurt, confused, overwhelmed, whatever it may be, know that only He can change your situation and turn things around. Because only He can turn hearts and heal them ~
