embarassed if people knew about our sins. Yet we comfortably sin knowing Allah is aware of it all.
Afraid of the creation, but not the Creator ~

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim: (May Allah have mercy on him)
Quran: Quality over Quantity
"If the people knew the sweetness, and benefits in pondering over the Quran when reading it, they would have kept themselves busy with nothing else but reading Quran.
For reading and pondering over one verse is better than a khatma (completion of the whole Quran) without contemplation nor understanding. It's also more beneficial to the heart, attains Iman and makes one taste the sweetness of the Quran."

When you're making dua (supplicating), remember you are talking to the One who can bring a dead heart back to life again.

Narrated Abu Huraira RA:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"
Sahih al-Bukhari 1145
