It is reported that Ayyūb Al-Sakhtiyānī (رحمه الله) said:

A man does not become noble until he has two qualities: he is undesirous of what other people possess, and he pardons and overlooks them.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“Everyone from my nation will be forgiven except those who sin in public. Among them is a man who commits an evil deed in the night that Allah has hidden for him, then in the morning he says: O people, I have committed this sin! His Lord had hidden it during the night, but in the morning he reveals what Allah has hidden.”

AYAT OF THE DAY 🪽

Aal-e-Imran 3:135
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَٰحِشَةً أَوۡ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ ذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرُواْ لِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَن يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَلَمۡ يُصِرُّواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُواْ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ

And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse etc.) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - And do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.

Divehi - Abu Bakr Ibrahim Ali (Bakurube)
(135) އަދި އެމީހުންނަކީ އެމީހުންނަށް فاحش ކަމެއްކުރެވިއްޖެއްޔާ ނުވަތަ އަމިއްލަ نفس އަށް އަނިޔާވެރިވެވިއްޖެއްޔާ اللّه ހަނދާންކުރާމީހުންނެވެ. اللّه އަށް ذِكر ކުރާމީހުންނެވެ. ދެން އެމީހުން އެމީހުންގެ ފާފަތައް ފުއްސެވުމަށް އެދިދަންނަވައެވެ. އަދި اللّه މެނުވީ ފާފަފުއްސަވާނީ ދެން ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި އެމީހުންނަކީ އެމީހުންނަށް އެނގިތިބޭ حال އެމީހުންނަށް އެކުރެވުނު ފާފައިގެމަތީ ދެމިނުތިބޭމީހުންނެވެ. (އަދި ކިއެއްހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަވަސް އަވަހަށް توبة ވެ اللّه ގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވާ މީހުންނެވެ.)
