In addition to the above, any claims that the Shuyūkh are being “gatekept” are complete falsity, and the one who made this claim knows that better than anyone else.
Aside from the fact that the Mashayikh have publicized certain mediums for contacting them, it’s simply not true that even their personal contact details were withheld — in fact, it’s quite the opposite.
No one in their right mind would “guard” their Shaykhs, and then show disapproval when they were not consulted for major issues. Anyone with sincerity would have made all their efforts to make sure their brothers are well connected and that their questions were answered — and anyone with sincerity would not deny that this was done for them.
It’s not befitting for one to take such big steps — the consequences of which can be detrimental to many who aren’t well grounded in their beliefs — and then claim victim when people react in accordance to the severity of the situation.
May Allāh سبحانه وتعالى guide us all to the truth and keep us steadfast.

Al-Mutaffifin 83:12

Verily, Allah knows those who believe, and verily, He knows the hypocrites [i.e. Allah will test the people with good and hard days to discriminate the good from the wicked (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)].

(11) އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން مؤمن ން އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން منافق ން އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. ކުރިންވެސް بيان ކުރިފަދައިން اللّه ގެ عذاب އާއި ކޯފާއަށްވުރެ މީސްތަކުންގެ އުނދަގުލަށް ޖެހިލުންވާމީހާ އެވަނީ منافق ންގެ ލިސްޓުގައި ކަމުގައި މިއާޔަތް ދަލީލު ކުރެއެވެ.
وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ

In Afghanistan 15 million people don't know where their next meal comes from. 😢
According to the WFP, that is 1/3 of the population. The Herat earthquake is yet another disaster on top of an already dire humanitarian crisis.

Herat City, Afghanistan, has become a tent city: families are sleeping in open spaces in parks in small tents as they are afraid to be inside because of aftershocks and more earthquakes.
