〝 O little one, can’t you see how your soul yearns for Allah? Free yourself from the heavy burden of your sins and repent to Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. When you repent you will find all goodness from Him. Hasten to your compassionate Lord. O you criminal, the wrongdoer, you have oppressed yourself with shortcomings and faults. Hasten to Allah. If you err and commit sins, turn to Allah, humble yourself before Him, fall down and beg him seeking His forgiveness. Allah is always ready to answer you. Pay heed to the words of our pious predecessors: If you desire to do a sin and disobey the one who provided you and whilst walking on His land, at least do it in a place where He cannot see you. 〞

A person who begins by dressing modestly but gradually adopts attire resembling that of the ignorant shows signs of losing Allah's pleasure and signalling a decline in their faith. Perhaps the person doesn’t notice and it reaches the worst possible state (wherein it no longer affects their heart). An example is the case of a sister dressed according to Shari’ah, perhaps she removes her gloves with the excuse of convenience until her eyes are displayed, she wears an imposter face covering (the “half” Niqab), her Abaya is tightened with a belt, it is shortened to be kept “clean”, she is perfumed etc., this all happens so gradually, she remains unaware. So each step is a warning sign for the wise to take heed that their faith is diminishing, just as their modest
clothing. Faith increases and decreases, we must take proactive steps continuously to keep our faith high. When we sin, our faith decreases, so we must refrain from sinning and continuously make Istighfaar, so this sin doesn't manifest itself on us outwardly too.

Al-Ma'arij 70:42
فَذَرۡهُمۡ يَخُوضُواْ وَيَلۡعَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ
So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised.
Al-Ma'arij 70:43
يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ
The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal,
Al-Ma'arij 70:44
With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!

Allah says in surah al-Nisa':
[مَّن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً حَسَنَةً يَكُن لَّهُ نَصِيبٌ مِّنْهَا ۖ وَمَن يَشْفَعْ شَفَاعَةً سَيِّئَةً يَكُن لَّهُ كِفْلٌ مِّنْهَا ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّقِيتًا]
Whoever intercedes with good *shafa'ah* will have a share of it. But whoever intercedes with bad *shafa'ah* will have a burden from it. And Allah is a witness over everything. [85]

Ibn 'Abbaas said: Good *shafa'ah* is bringing reconciliation between people while bad *shafa'ah* is spreading rumors among people.
And some said that good *shafa'ah* is saying good words about people for which one will earn rewards and good deeds while bad *shafa'ah* is backbiting and saying bad things about people for which one will earn bad deeds.

📚Fiqh of the Salaf with regards to the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah📚
On the authority of Anas: "It was said regarding each of the days of first 10 of Dhul Hijjah, that each day [of worship] equated to 1000 days, and the Day of 'Arafah equated to 10,000 days [of worship]."
And Abu Uthmān al-Nahdē said: "They (The Salaf) would hold in high regard (i.e., expend a greater effort in worshiping Allah) the three sets of 10 [days]: (1) The first 10 of Muharram, (2) The first 10 of Dhul Hijjah, (3) and The last 10 of Ramadan."
And Al-'Awzā'ee said: "It has reached me that worshipping Allah in the first 10 days [of Dhul Hijjah] equated to participating in a battle for the sake of Allah whilst fasting its day and guarding [the Muslims] in the night."
