Annunciation Catholic Church shooting victim Sophia Forchas welcomed back by her classmates after making a "miraculous" recovery.
Forchas' family says Sophia was saved by "the mercy and intervention of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Doctors were shocked by her recovery, as noted by CBS News, considering Sophia was not expected to survive.
The 12-year-old girl was shot in the head and placed in a medically induced coma. The left side of her skull was removed to help with brain swelling.
"It is by God's will that she has come this far. We are eternally grateful to our loving Father, who hears and answers prayers," her family said.
"We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary staff of Hennepin Healthcare at HCMC for their tireless dedication and world-class care."
"To our extended family, the Orthodox Church, our Annunciation school family, our friends and colleagues, and the many strangers who have become prayer warriors for Sophia; we thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
Praise God.

Most people don’t realize how important zinc is before conception — for both men and women.
Zinc plays a major role in fertility, hormone balance, and fetal protection. One of its most critical functions is binding and neutralizing heavy metals, which lowers the amount that can cross the placenta during pregnancy.
When zinc levels are low, the placenta becomes more permeable, meaning toxic metals like lead and cadmium reach the fetus more easily.
When zinc levels are adequate, the placenta becomes a much stronger barrier.
Oysters are the single richest natural source of bioavailable zinc on the planet. Just two raw oysters can provide more than the full daily zinc requirement, making them one of the best fertility-supporting foods you can eat.

👩 WOMEN : YOU’RE NOT “MOODY” — YOU MIGHT JUST BE DEHYDRATED.
Research shows that even 1.36% dehydration can significantly disrupt mood and mental performance in healthy young women.
The study found:
• ↑ Anger & irritability
• ↑ Fatigue
• ↑ Headaches
• ↑ Mood disturbance
• ↓ Concentration
• ↑ Tasks feel harder
All from dehydration so mild most women wouldn’t notice it.
Why this matters: hydration in women fluctuates naturally (cycle, stress, caffeine, workouts).
If you feel foggy, irritable, low-energy, or emotionally off — it may not be hormones.
It may simply be not enough water.
Drink consistently throughout the day — your brain feels dehydration long before your mouth does.
