This is quite a surprising term given the previous liberal nature of this party. It is clear that the FPÖ had to take the existence of the socially populist BZÖ into account. At the outset, the ten-point programme emphasises the value of freedom as the source of human dignity. However, freedom is no longer the main value in terms of the economy. In the fifth point, the programme emphasises that the party accepts the principles of the market economy, but it must take into account the public interest and concern for a fair redistribution of goods in Austrian society. Redistribution should also apply to a simple and efficient healthcare system, but not to foreigners. The 2011 programme frequently includes anti-immigrant proposals that exclude foreigners from the Austrian welfare state.

‘A nation united by shared values’ was the same message used to push multiculturalism & mass immigration, which is what got our country into such a mess in the first place.

We need to identify this phrase: ‘shared values’ as subversive & hostile to our country.

Imagine for example China claiming that anyone with ‘shared values’ can be Chinese. You can only imagine it because China isn’t that stupid.

Nationhood is ethnic. It’s based on blood, not on words & so-called values. If we don’t acknowledge this, we won’t exist as a truly national group.

This was clearly part of the terms negotiated by President Trump to extend Tiktok’s lifespan in the US. So far since Trump’s election we have seen increased censorship on X and Tiktok directly related to the issues of legal immigration and the war in Gaza.

This already vindicates my prediction that censorship might increase under Trump, especially due to the influence of his donors.

Strategies of Survival: Reviving the Neo-Fascist Network Through a Transnational Magazine

In the late 1970s, a group of far-right activists launched a geo-political magazine named Confidentiel and published in Paris. Far from being a domestic project, the magazine was also launched in Spain, Italy and Argentina, thanks to the wide transnational network of which its founders formed a part. Although the magazine was relatively short-lived and enjoyed a modest circulation (despite its transnational reach), its history illuminates the trajectories of some key nodes of the neo-fascist transnational network after the fall of Franco's regime in Spain, where distinct generations of far-right activists had found a safe sanctuary. This article argues that members of the neo-fascist transnational network developed Confidentiel as part of a survival strategy and used it to maintain a stable presence in Europe after the mid-1970s, as well as to revitalize the network itself.
