Nick Griffin supported Ulster’s independence during The Troubles as the ‘only way’ to maintain the provinces freedom and identity ‘as part of the British family of Nations’. He denied advocating the break-up of Britain, claiming instead to support ‘the first liberated zone of our future Britain.’ Ulster represented ‘the best opportunity for a genuine National Revolution anywhere in Europe. History beckons us, we must not turn our backs.’ Loyalists prioritised the military over the political situation, Griffin argued, envisaging the NF could provide the ‘ideological backbone’ and ‘to help provide the blue-print for the social and economic structure of the new nation.’ Many European nationalist groups were pro-Republican and, Griffin claimed, ‘the NF’s widely acknowledged position as one of the most respected Racial Nationalist movements in the world also places us in a unique position from which to influence foreign Nationalist groups and swing them behind the Ulster cause.’

“Barrett’s vision is that of an ‘Ireland, united, Gaelic and free’…His solution for Ulster? Repartition, and he puts forward compelling argument for same – basically an idea proposed in the 80s by Irish radicals writing in the journal, Nationalism Today. Then, as now, many will find this idea unpalatable. However, Barrett sees the growth of the Roman Catholic community as the death-knell for Ulster Protestantism. This reviewer would take issue with this analysis, but I believe that his is a genuine attempt to forward a real and meaningful alternative and almost certainly lends the possibility of dialogue and discussion with sincere Irish nationalists. I can at least consider arguments advanced pertaining to alternative viewpoints unlike Sinn Féin/IRA who seek to guarantee us a place in their ‘32 county socialist Republic’. Candour from that source may have admitted that this ‘place’ is six foot under!”

🇬🇧 - A third night of rioting hits Ulster as an "emergency rest centre" in a local leisure centre, for migrants whose houses in Ballymena were destroyed, was set on fire by "masked youths."
The earlier clashes in Manchester were linked to a funeral and reportedly not political in nature.

Angelo Plume reports on Italy’s citizenship referendum, which aimed to make it easier for specifically non-Europeans to become Italian citizens. Thankfully, it failed spectacularly.

1,173 words On June 8-9, Italy held a referendum, the results of which might have significant implications for Italy’s future. What is most certain is that the results confirmed that Italy’s liberal-communist left is a political shambles and a moral void…
