Britain is likely to abandon plans to send thousands of troops to protect Ukraine because the risks are deemed “too high,” it has emerged.
In an apparent softening of the plans, Britain and Europe would no longer have a ground force protecting key cities, ports, and nuclear power plants to ensure peace.

Instead, the security commitment to Ukraine would focus on rebuilding and rearmament of Kyiv’s military, with air and sea protection.
British and French military trainers would be sent to western Ukraine.

A source involved in discussions about a “coalition of the willing” said of plans for a force of tens of thousands of ground troops: “The risks are too high and the forces inadequate for such a task.”

🇬🇧The AFU attacked the Crimean peninsula last night with 60 drones, most of which were shot down and caused no damage to military facilities, Russian sources report.

The launch was carried out from the Zatoka area in the Odessa region along two routes: toward Yevpatoria and toward Krasnoperekopsk; this area has been the main target of Ukrainian attacks for almost half a year, Rybar reports.

This source comments that for now they are seeking to weaken Russian defenses in Crimea and that because the Ukrainian military has amassed watercraft in the Black Sea, as well as GUR special forces in Odessa, an increase in attacks in the area could occur.
