These are the stakes of the upcoming elections in both countries: a stronger and united opposition against the Eurofederalist project and by default, the Franco-German alliance, with the support of the United States, or the continued submission to the will of Berlin and Paris who have been reinvigorated by American detachment from Europe to push for more centralisation.
Nicușor Dan admitted tonight that a sovereignist president won't pull Romania out of the EU unlike how the liberal media claimed, but said that Romania will be "isolated", on the contrary, it will gain a few good friends in the struggle against Brussels.
Dan would rather continue the servant-lord relationship Romania has with the European Commission, France and Germany, even though none of these countries invested anything beyond supermarkets, than have freedom for his country and people, freedom from the arbitrary and cumbersome regulations of Brussels.
Although a George Simion presidency will not accomplish much as, without a friendly Parliament, there is little the president can do, the alternative of political chaos and crisis is far better than the stability and predictability of

—👑 🇷🇴 NEW: Presidential frontrunner George Simion signals political backing for monarchy restoration in Romania via constitutional reform.
Simion declared openness to reinstating the monarchy, stating "some people in Romania would like to return to the monarchy... I would agree with that," and emphasized it would occur only with parliamentary majority support. He confirmed AUR seeks a constitutional change to enable this.
A 2023 INSCOP survey found that 56.4% of Romanians believe the country's situation would have improved if the monarchy had been restored after 1989; however, only 35.4% would vote to reinstate it.
❔ Do you think more Romanians would now support restoring the monarchy? And if so — would you back someone like Georgescu founding a new dynasty as King Georgescu I?

"Iran is ready to sign a nuclear deal with certain conditions with President Donald Trump in exchange for lifting economic sanctions, a top advisor to Iran’s supreme leader told NBC News on Wednesday.
Ali Shamkhani, a top political, military and nuclear advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is one of the most senior Iranian officials to speak publicly about the ongoing discussions.
He said Iran would commit to never making nuclear weapons, getting rid of its stockpiles of highly-enriched Uranium which can be weaponized, agree to only enrich Uranium to the lower levels needed for civilian use, and allow international inspectors to supervise the process, in exchange for the immediate lifting of all economic sanctions on Iran.
Asked if Iran would agree to sign an agreement today if those conditions were met, Shamkhani said, “Yes.”
His comments appear to be the clearest public statement yet on Iran’s expectations and willingness to reach a deal from the supreme leader’s inner circle. Iran’s supreme leader has the final say on all matters of national security."
