🇵🇸 🇮🇱 Israel divides the Gaza Strip into blocks... a new phase of the Israeli genocide. Via
@Yasser_Gaza
:
- The Israeli army has released a map dividing the Gaza Strip into over 2300 small blocks.
- The army has requested Gaza residents to identify the block number they reside in using the map.
- The occupation will later inform residents of Block (X) to move to Block (Z), implementing a new forced displacement as part of its genocide in Gaza.
- the vast majority of Palestinians in Gaza do NOT have electricity or internet due to the Israeli aggression.
- This division follows the United States' request for Israel not to resume the war before laying out a plan to protect civilians.
- This diabolical plan will serve as justification for mass casualties and forced displacement.
🔶️ In summary, in the second phase of the war, "Israel" continues killing and forced displacing but in a more professional manner this time. The world rejected indiscriminate killing, so there's a shift towards organized killing.

"BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Hungary will not support any European Union proposal to begin talks on making Ukraine a member of the bloc, a government minister said Thursday.
Gergely Gulyas, the chief of staff to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, said at a news conference in Budapest that it was premature to begin formal talks with Kyiv on the war-ravaged country joining the EU, and that Hungary would not consent to opening the discussions when EU leaders meet in mid-December.
“We are dealing with a completely premature proposal,” Gulyas said, adding that Hungary “cannot contribute to a common decision” on inviting Ukraine to begin the process of joining the bloc."

🇨🇳 🇪🇺 🇺🇸 The Critical Minerals to China, EU, and U.S. National Security
🔶️ Over the last decade, minerals like nickel, copper, and lithium have been on these lists and deemed essential for clean technologies like EV batteries and solar and wind power.
🔶️ China produces 60% of all rare earth elements used as components in high-technology devices, including smartphones and computers. The country also has a 13% share of the lithium production market. In addition, it refines around 35% of the world’s nickel, 58% of lithium, and 70% of cobalt.

☢️ 🇺🇸 🌍 Declaration to Triple Nuclear Energy
02 December 2023
🔶️ Recognizing the key role of nuclear energy in achieving global net-zero greenhouse gas emissions / carbon neutrality by or around mid-century and in keeping a 1.5°C limit on temperature rise within reach and achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7;
🔶️ Recognizing the importance of the applications of nuclear science and technology that contribute to monitoring climate change and tackling its impacts, and emphasizing the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in this regard;
🔶️ Recognizing that nuclear energy is already the second-largest source of clean dispatchable baseload power, with benefits for energy security;
🔶️ Recognizing that analyses from the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and World Nuclear Association show that global installed nuclear energy capacity must triple by 2050 in order to reach global net-zero emissions by the same year;
🔶️ Recognizing that analysis from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change shows nuclear energy approximately tripling its global installed electrical capacity from 2020 to 2050 in the average 1.5°C scenario;
🔶️ Recognizing that analysis from the International Energy Agency shows nuclear power more than doubling from 2020 to 2050 in global net-zero emissions by 2050 scenarios and shows that decreasing nuclear power would make reaching net zero more difficult and costly;
🔶️ Recognizing that new nuclear technologies could occupy a small land footprint and can be sited where needed, partner well with renewable energy sources, and have additional flexibilities that support decarbonization beyond the power sector, including hard-to-abate industrial sectors;
🔶️ Recognizing the IAEA’s activities in supporting its Member States, upon request, to include nuclear power in their national energy planning in a sustainable way that adheres to the highest standards of safety, security, and safeguards and its “Atoms4NetZero” initiative as an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange expertise;
🔶️ Recognizing the importance of financing for the additional nuclear power capacity needed to keep a 1.5°C limit on temperature rise within reach;
🔶️ Recognizing the need for high-level political engagement to spur further action on nuclear power;

🇻🇪🇬🇾 The ICJ rules in favor of Guyana and orders Venezuela to avoid taking actions that change the current situation in Essequibo:
"Until a final decision on the controversy is adopted, Venezuela will refrain from taking any measure that modifies the situation of the territory under the administration of Guyana."
Thus, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) recognizes that Guyana administers and controls the Essequibo territory.
The ICJ further noted that there is a real and imminent risk of irreparable harm to Guyana, and therefore took two provisional measures:
1) Venezuela must refrain from carrying out actions that modify the current situation of the disputed territory.
2) Both parties must avoid actions that aggravate or extend the dispute.

☢️ 🌍 IEA: "Nuclear capacity needs to double to reach net zero by 2050
COP28: Hold my beer...
Richard Ollington:
"Can it be done?
It's a big ask - 50% faster buildout than the 80s, and for a longer period
But
This time it'll be a global effort. In the 80s only 30 countries built nuclear. Now over 80 countries are considering nuclear builds.
China and India alone aim to add 180 GW by 2040.
Nuclear is already well proven as the fastest means of building out clean electricity generation"
