🇹🇭❌🇰🇭 — Cambodian soldiers dug and dragged for 650 meters before clashing with Thai soldiers, Thai media reports

The latest is that negotiations are still underway.

➡️ Today (May 28), local media reported after a clash between Thai and Cambodian soldiers occurred at Chong Bok, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

➡️ After finding a Khulet dug from the Sattaban tree to the Lao intersection, a distance of 650 meters, which is a claimed area.

➡️ Before the clash between the two sides, Thai soldiers went to negotiate because it was a violation of the MOU 2000 for the second time, but the Cambodian soldiers returned fire, causing a clash. Currently, negotiations are underway between leaders in both areas.

➡️ The Thai soldiers insisted that the Cambodian soldiers leave the claimed area together.

➡️ Thai media reports Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army, spoke about the progress of the situation at Chong Bok, saying that he had ordered the Thai soldiers to maintain their forces in the area.

➡️ He confirmed that if the Cambodian soldiers did not retreat, they would not retreat either.
