Ambassador Brodsky did not clarify how many of the 8 MIM-104D PAC-2/GEM+ “Yahalom” Batteries retired last year by the Israeli Air Force have been provided, though several United States Air Force C-17s have been seen arriving and departed from IAF Nevatim Airbase in Southern Israel since January, when it was reported 90 “Patriot” Missiles stored in Israel were delivered to Ukraine via Poland.

Reports in May suggested that at least one “Patriot” Surface-to-Air Missile System was being transferred to the United States for refurbishment, before it was to be provided to the Ukrainian Air Force.
