Our attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar does not threaten the sisterly state of Qatar.

➡️Iran coordinated the attacks on the US air base in Qatar with Qatari officials and gave advance notice of their coming to minimize casualties.

➡️The officials said Iran needed to symbolically retaliate against the US, but at the same time, execute the attack in a way that would allow all parties an escape route.

➡️They described this strategy as similar to the 2020 strategy when Iran gave Iraq warning before launching ballistic missiles at a US base in Iraq following the assassination of its top military commander.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the aggression launched by Iran against the sisterly State of Qatar, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of good neighborliness.

It is unacceptable and cannot be justified under any circumstances.
