➡️ On this monday, US President Trump on Monday signed an executive order revoking the bulk of U.S. sanctions on Syria, including those imposed under the Caesar Act, citing a “fundamental change” in the country’s leadership and policies under new Syrian new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa.

➡️ Sanctions imposed under the Bush and Obama administrations — targeting the Assad regime’s human rights abuses and financial networks — will be lifted effective July 1, 2025.

➡️ The order allows suspension of sanctions imposed under the Caesar Act and the Chemical and Biological Weapons Control Act, declaring that Assad-era abuses no longer reflect the position of the current Syrian government.

➡️ While lifting broad economic sanctions, the order expands Executive Order 13894 to focus future sanctions on individuals tied to war crimes, captagon trafficking, and disappearances during Assad’s rule.

It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign.

Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one.

Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa.
