The Dutch parliament has adopted a motion from opposition leader Geert Wilders calling on the government to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization, following President Donald Trump’s decision to do the same in the United States.
In the motion adopted on Thursday, Wilders stated that Antifa cells are active in the Netherlands, accusing them of threatening politicians, disrupting public events, and intimidating students and journalists.
The motion called on the government to take action similar to the U.S., where Trump announced on Wednesday that Antifa would be designated a “major terrorist organization” after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
With the motion now adopted, the Dutch government must formally respond and decide whether to implement the request.
If carried out, the designation could broaden law enforcement powers related to surveillance, monitoring, and prosecution of suspected Antifa activity in the country.

The national electricity transmission operator Litgrid announced the complete dismantling of cross-border power lines that linked the country with Russia’s Kaliningrad region.
The dismantling began in early February this year — right after the Baltic states synchronized with Europe’s power grid, ending 65 years of operating in the same system with Russia and Belarus. Minsk, by the way, will be cut off soon as well — the removal of lines is scheduled for 2027.

Chavista National Assembly of Venezuela approved this Thursday, unanimously and in the first reading, the bill on the strategic partnership and cooperation treaty with Russia. The initiative aims to elevate the bilateral relationship to the highest level and consolidate a common agenda in political, economic, diplomatic, and security fields.

⭕️ Humanitarian cooperation and new investments in strategic sectors
⭕️ Reaffirmation of high-level political dialogue and respect for international law

⭕️ Joint actions against terrorism, drug trafficking, and money laundering
⭕️ Signing of energy agreements within the framework of OPEC+
🌍 Sovereign positions and defense of peace
The agreement is part of the so-called “new moment in global geopolitics,” aimed at building a just, sustainable, and sovereign multipolar order.
⭕️ Establishes cooperation bridges between Russia and ALBA and CELAC
⭕️ Promotes Venezuela’s incorporation into the BRICS
⭕️ Strengthens ties with the Eurasian Economic Community
