Ukraine’s Return to the Russian World

by Alexander Dugin

Ukraine will be entirely ours within at most two years—quite possibly much sooner. There will no longer be even the slightest trace of sovereignty there, since Ukrainians are simply incapable of exercising it. They never were, and they will never learn. It is simply not in their nature.

From what I know, full-scale work is already underway on a detailed plan for integrating Ukrainian society into the unified space of the Russian World. Textbooks are being prepared, along with emergency programs for mass treatment and psychological rehabilitation.

A project for a new administrative structure has already been completed.

Most likely, these territories will receive a new name—possibly “Old Lands.” But this is still under discussion.

As for preserving or abolishing the Russophobic dialect spoken by the Nazis, there is no consensus. I support partially retaining it, though this view is not universally shared.

We are approaching this task with great seriousness, deliberation, and thoroughness.

This is not for propaganda, but for major, long-term work.

😵‍💫💬🇺🇸🇪🇺🇷🇺🇺🇦 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky:

"The complexity of the entire diplomatic situation is that this war was started by Russia – and only Russia, and throughout the full-scale war it is Russia and only Russia that does not want to end the war. From the very first moments of February 24, Putin has been conducting this war in such a way that he does not care how many of his own people he loses and how many of our people he kills.

Russian commanders do not just have a desire to act cruelly – they have clear orders that they can kill as they please. That is why the Russian war is so bloody and takes lives both on the front lines and in peaceful Ukrainian cities. That is why Russia not only kills adults but also kidnaps children and tries to re-educate them so that they will participate in the war when they grow up.

Now Russian commanders are throwing into assaults against Ukrainian positions those who were still in elementary school in 2014, when Crimea was occupied and hybrid aggression against Ukraine began. This is a long war, and the main thing Russia is trying to do is to keep the possibility of fighting even longer and not only against Ukraine. That is why we so appreciate that so many forces and leaders are working for peace now.

Ukraine is grateful to the United States, to every American heart, and personally to President Trump for the help that, starting with the Javelins, saves the lives of Ukrainians. We thank everyone in Europe, in the Group of Seven and the Group of Twenty, who help us protect lives. It is important to maintain support.

It is important not to forget the main goal – to stop the Russian war and not allow it to flare up again someday. And for this to happen, peace must be dignified. Just this year alone, Putin has already sent hundreds of thousands of his people to their deaths to occupy a percentage or a few of Ukrainian territory. And this is done by Russia, which already has more internationally recognized territory than anyone else in the world. Such a nature of the war and Russia's attempt to prolong the war show that for them it is not about territory, not about how a particular neighbor of Russia behaves, but about Russia's "right to war," about the "right to subjugate" others, about a fundamental lack of security.

That is why we work so carefully on every point, on every step toward peace. Everything must work correctly – so that this war really ends and so that a repeat of the war is not allowed. Thank you to everyone who helps! Thank you, America! Thank you, Europe! I am proud of our people. Glory to Ukraine!"

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸Umerov at negotiations in the USA agreed to the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass and the reduction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to 600,000 people.

Later, this formed the basis of Trump's plan for Ukraine, writes Washington Post columnist David Ignatius.

According to him, negotiations on the new plan began almost a month ago, led by Americans in consultation with Russian, European, and Ukrainian partners.

"The process peaked last weekend after a senior Turkish official informed Whitkoff that Rustem Umerov was ready to meet him in Florida. According to American officials, at the meeting in Florida, Umerov stated that Zelensky might be ready to compromise on the crucial issue of exchanging territory in Donetsk for a peace agreement, as demanded by Russia. Umerov also said that Ukraine might agree to limit the size of its army to 600,000," Ignatius writes, citing officials.

Recall that Umerov himself denied agreeing to any points of Trump's plan.

At the same time, the White House claimed his direct involvement in preparing the plan.

It was previously reported that Ukraine might have known about Trump's plan since the end of October.

🇵🇱🇪🇺🛡🇷🇺 Poland started the construction of part of its "eastern shield" on the border with Kaliningrad.

After 4 years of war in Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic states are however barely starting to prepare defensive lines on their eastern borders

It should already be a reality, it is however still a plan.

After announcing they would prepare fortifications on their eastern border, Poland, the Baltic countries and Finland barely started to build them. The area is only covered by anti-migrants barricades.

For now, I only found 3 small areas where we can see fortifications, all in Poland, on the border with Kaliningrad, a Russia oblast.

On the eastern border of the EU, we can only see preparations for fortifications and road blocks on the borders.

Here is another one, between the clouds. They are similar to the Ukrainian ones.

However, Poland must keep in mind they should mainly prepare in depth defenses, because there is no way they would be able to bring troops that much close to the border in case of an invasion.

🇬🇧According to Bloomberg, secret meetings have taken place in recent weeks between the United States and Russia to discuss the war in Ukraine, but these meetings excluded key White House officials.

US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told Ukrainian and European officials that Kyiv is in a bad position, must cede territory, and that Trump has lost patience, Bloomberg reported.

🇬🇧The Telegraph has published the 24-point European plan that proposes, for example, a ceasefire on the current lines, NATO-style security guarantees from the US for Ukraine, the return of children and prisoners, Ukrainian control of the Zaporizhzhia plant and the Kakhovka dam, as well as reconstruction financed with frozen Russian assets.

🇬🇧Both initiatives share a common foundation: reaffirming Ukraine's sovereignty, establishing a non-aggression pact between Kyiv and Moscow, and envisioning ongoing dialogue between Russia and NATO to reduce tensions. Furthermore, both plans agree on offering security guarantees to Ukraine, limiting the size of its military, and launching a massive reconstruction package with investments in energy, infrastructure, technology, and mining. They also contemplate Russia's gradual reintegration into the global economy, IAEA oversight of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear facility, and a comprehensive humanitarian program including prisoner exchanges and family reunification.

However, the differences are profound and define the political implications of each proposal. The most significant difference lies in territorial and international policy issues. While the US plan effectively recognizes Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk as Russian territories and freezes the situation in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, the European version eliminates any territorial recognition and proposes that all negotiations begin from the current line of contact without validating any annexations.

Brussels also removed a particularly sensitive point: the suggestion to halt NATO expansion, a concession that would have been seen as a strategic victory for Moscow. Another key difference is the use of frozen Russian funds. The US plan envisions using them in part for joint US-Russian projects, while the EU insists they remain frozen until Moscow fully compensates for the damage caused in Ukraine.

On military matters, Europe proposes a larger Ukrainian army—800,000 soldiers compared to the 600,000 in the original proposal—and, unlike Washington, does not want to force Ukraine to permanently renounce NATO membership; it simply acknowledges that there is currently no consensus for its admission.

The European perspective seeks to avoid any validation of Russian expansion and keep international options open for Ukraine. However, the fact that Europe has presented a counter-offer, in addition to demonstrating a willingness to participate in peace, shows an interest in ending the conflict. By moving away from maximalist positions, the European Union is paving the way for the war to end.
