🇻🇦🇹🇷🛬 — Vatican Media reported Pope Leo XIV landed in Ankara, beginning his first foreign trip since becoming Pope and Head of the Vatican State, with visits to Turkey and Lebanon.

Upon his arrival, Pope Leo XIV was received by an official welcome by Turkish Authorities at the Ankara Esenboğa International Airport as he begins his first Apostolic Journey.

The Pope is expected to visit Turkish-occupied Constantinople in the next days
