1️⃣👉 New mandatory Asylum procedures at 'external borders' will not allow immigrants to enter EU territory while at the same time focusing on making "a quick assessment" at the external border regarding the validity of applications
2️⃣👉 Change in responsibilities, forcing countries of arrival or which house relatives of applicants to be responsible for the application and applicant
‼️ 1️⃣ and 2️⃣ aim to prevent 'refugees' from moving on their own from border countries to other countries such as Germany both before and after the application review
3️⃣👉 "Mandatory solidarity": a new 'migrant relocation quota system' stipulated by the EU will force countries to accept immigrants OR pay EUR 20.000 per rejection

‼️ The 3 measures cited in the previous posts had been attempted as individual programs by EU countries before, most notably, in 2021 Germany proposed paying for the expenses of illegal immigrants in Greece in order to give them goo enough living conditions so they would not move to Germany and also requested to send back 'refugees' granted Asylum in Greece but that moved to Germany after, Germany also sent its Federal Police to Greek airports to prevent immigrants from boarding flights to Germany illegally (🖇 sources here & here)

▶️Close to Gilberts, Solomons & New Hebrides
This helps explain the rush to build up the supply line across the Pacific.
How prepared are we to handle this situation in 2023 vice 1942?

Taipei to Hawaii= 4,380NM
Especially as we:
▶️Shut down Red Hill in HI
▶️Only 17 oilers split btwn Pacific & Atlantic
▶️Few US merchant marine tankers & CONSOL capbility
In WW2, we pulled this off by:
▶️Building on experience of WWI advanced base ops
▶️Using older oilers as station tankers
▶️Taking over 12 fast commercial tankers
▶️Mobilizing US merchant fleet to resupply & reinforce islands
▶️Have shipyard capacity to replace & repair vessels

The Biden administration announced new sanctions and other restrictions on Nicaragua Wednesday, aiming to curb migration to the U.S. southern border and penalize the country for alleged human rights abuses and its close ties to Russia.
Some of the actions against the country are being taken to address "significant concern about the government of Nicaragua and its continued repression of the people of Nicaragua and their exploitation of migrants," a senior administration official told reporters.
