🇧🇷❗️🇻🇪🇬🇾 — Venezuela vs. Guyana Conflict: The Brazilian Army has been moving equipment - including missiles and combat vehicles - and modernizing military installations to create defenses in the border region of Roraima, thus deterring Venezuelan military forces from using Brazilian territory in a possible invasion of Guyana

📝 The action is taking place alongside troop movements on the Venezuelan side consistent with a pre-war scenario, according to a report released by the American think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

🔍 The CSIS identified in Venezuelan territory, through satellite images, the expansion of a military base and the runway of an airbase, as well as the positioning of naval forces in strategic locations.

🪖 Brazil, in turn, has deployed a reinforcement of troops to its border, including 8 Guarani troop transport armored vehicles, 32 Guaicuru armored jeeps, and 6 Cascavel reconnaissance armored vehicles. In addition, anti-aircraft missiles RBS 70, Anti-Tank Missiles (MSS 1.2 AC), heavy and light ammunition, 81 mm mortars, heavy Minimi MK3 machine guns, .50 M2 HB machine guns, and 7.62 mm caliber machine guns, as well as heavy artillery grenades, have been transported to the border. Altogether, the equipment sent has a value of R$ 228 million.

⚠️ Operation Roraima: The operational and tactical details of the defense preparation are treated with the same secrecy as a combat operation. The goal is for Brazilian troops to be ready to prevent national territory from being used as a transit route, as the roads of Roraima are theoretically the best route for Venezuelan heavy troops to sustain the logistics of an invasion of Guyana.

‼️ This number of troops is not prepared to contain a large-scale Venezuelan land invasion. If the concentration of Venezuelan troops increases, the Armed Forces have secret plans to mobilize large contingents and send them to the region within a few days.
