🇬🇧🚓 Yikes. Rapes are up around 600% in Britain in the past 20 years and over 400% in the last 10 years. Very strange to me that this isn’t considered a major crisis by the authorities.

63% increase in rapes in the UK over a five year period. That’s pretty grim. Looks like Britain is becoming a pretty unsafe place. Now the rape capital of Europe by a sizeable margin.

🇻🇪 Oil spill reported off Venezuela's Caribbean coast

An oil spill, which appeared to originate from Venezuela's El Palito refinery several days ago, has contaminated a bay off the country's north-central coast in the Caribbean Sea, according to sources.

Biologist Eduardo Klein posted satellite images on X that he said showed an oil slick of about 225 square kilometers (87 square miles) in the Golfe Triste and completely covering Morrocoy National Park.

The El Palito refinery, with a capacity to process 146,000 barrels of crude oil per day, is Venezuela's smallest oil refining complex and located in the Puerto Cabello municipality on the coast of the central state of Carabobo.

🇺🇸🇵🇦Panama to begin US-funded migrant repatriation flights on Tuesday

The first U.S.-funded flight repatriating migrants who crossed into Panama irregularly is scheduled for Tuesday, the Panamanian president's office said on Monday.

The flights, which will carry both deported and voluntarily repatriated migrants, are part of an accord signed with the U.S. government last month.
