➡️ In view of the rise in food prices, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva suggested that the population avoid buying products that are too expensive or simply eat less, as a way of putting pressure on price reductions and helping to control inflation.

“If everyone had the conscience and didn’t buy what was expensive, those who are selling it will have to lower the price to sell it, otherwise it will go bad. This is human wisdom. This is an educational process that we will have to do with the Brazilian people,” said the president in an interview with the Metrópoles and Sociedade radio stations in Bahia.

➡️ The president also encouraged consumers to replace more expensive items with similar products at more affordable prices.

The founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, are reportedly considering an initial public offering as early as this year.

Gemini, which first eyed a public listing in 2021, is reportedly in talks with potential advisers on a listing, according to a Feb. 6 report from Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter.
