🚢 🇺🇸 🌍 A New Advisory has been released for the Eastern Mediterranean Sea by the U.S. Maritime Administration stating that Commercial Vessels operating in the Region should Exercise Caution, conduct Risk Assessments, and Review Security Measures as well as NATO/Coastal Shipping Warnings due to an Increased Risk of Tensions and Hostilities in the Region; the Advisory goes into Effect today October 26th 2023 and lasts until at least April 24th of 2024.

🔎 The value of a country's interest rate is related to inflation. Central banks use this rate to expand or slow down the economy and as a means to curb rising prices.
🇿🇼 After the reconsideration of the importance of the US dollar in Zimbabwe's economy, the annual inflation eased to 18.4% in September, down from the previous month's 77%.
📈 In Argentina, the excessive price increase followed the opposite path: it went from 6% in June and 6.3% in July to 12.4% in August and 12.7% in September.
🇻🇪 Behind Argentina and Zimbabwe, the country with the highest interest rate is Venezuela, but it stands at 55%, less than half of Buenos Aires' rate.
