No it isn’t “normal”. It’s embarrassing.
Somehow developing nations in “shit hole” countries have a far better & superior election systems where they get results day of. I wonder how they could possibly achieve that.

When former Sanders supporters & Palestinian activists went to a Sanders rally to denounce Israel’s occupation & US funding and also the funding of Nazis in Ukraine, they were treated disgustingly by “progressives.”

Sorry but as an American, voting in the US for federal positions is an absolute waste of time and you’re only at this point, helping maintain the system in place under an illusion of democracy. Nothing based, democratic or anti-establishment about it.
And as far as the conflict in Ukraine, this isn’t going to change a thing.
And that also goes for third parties who continue to candidates without ever addressing the fact that the US does not have free and fair elections. By all means keep giving your money & time to pipe dreams folks. You don’t vote your way out of this.

❗️ War and peace. Happiness through the eyes of Donbass people
Please watch this video. A very sincere dialogue: about the war, about the peace, about the life and survival of Donbass people.
Dmitry Shevchenko, the head of Yasinovataya, spoke honestly about everything that happens in the city, how this city, completely stretched out along the front line, lives and remains unconquered for more than six months.
"According to statistics, since February, more than 15,000 large-caliber shells have fallen on the territory of the Yasinovataya.
The sense of my work now is to do everything possible to keep the city alive. <...>This is my city, this is my life, this is my destiny. You know, in wartime, I definitely won’t be able to leave. Under no circumstances. There are people who trust me, I work for these people," says Dmitry Shevchenko.

BREAKING Russia does not think it’s necessary nor wise to continue fighting in this region of Kherson. According to Surovikin, Kherson and adjacent settlements cannot be fully supplied and function, and people's lives are constantly in danger. Around 115,000 people have been evacuated and remaining troops will go to the left bank of the Dnieper. The withdrawal of troops and the remaining civilian population will be carried out as soon as possible. In the next few days, Kherson will come under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Note:
This is a clear military decision rather than any political surrender. The west will of course twist it in this way.

To be frank, I don’t think the Russian government realizes how many people all around the world have labeled it as the only opposing force sizable enough, to take on the Globalist hegemonic west. So many people who see it as this invincible force needs to understand their views.
War isn’t won on emotional outbursts. Military strategists don’t think like that and they shouldn’t. But it is wise for them to also understand the sentiments of the people who support them. You can’t lose those. Russia’s goal is to destroy Ukrainian artillery not conquer land.
So emotional hearts should grasp that concept. Now even an advisor to Zelensky has said it’s too early to talk about Russia’s “surrender” of Kherson. Knowing very well that this doesn’t mean the end of the operation.
Russian Minister of Defense Shoigu was the one to tell Surovikin to pull Russian troops back from Kherson City, South Russia, to the other side of the Dnieper river, saying that preserving the lives of army personnel is a top priority.
Being in Moscow we see the west thinks everything is so black & white. There is so much nuance & gray during conflicts like this. This knee-jerk reactionary analysis from western media, even pro Russian westerners is too reductionist & superficial w/o context in culture & logic.
As Americans we are taught to strike first & ask questions later. Our behavior in everything from policing to economic spending shows that. Russians and the Eastern cultures are entirely different. Almost to a fault they value logic and rational over dopamine feel-good outbursts.

⚔️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russian Media Confirms Order for Withdrawal from Kherson City of Russian Troops...
If this actually happens, it means the last possible victory for Ukrainian forces (in terms of overwhelming, trapping, destroying and/or capturing huge numbers of Russian troops and equipment) is eliminated.
It will be a major political blow for Russia - a major boost for Ukraine and its Western allies in terms of propaganda.
At the same time, Ukrainian infrastructure continues to disappear, its air defenses are dwindling (and aren't effective against new Geran-2 drones anyway), and Russia still may inflict heavy losses on Ukrainian forces approaching Kherson city.
Russia will have again preserved its manpower and equipment while Ukraine is forced to stretch out and expose its forces further at a time they are unable to replace both trained manpower and heavy weapons.
Any attempt by Ukrainian forces to cross the Dnieper River will lead to catastrophic losses. Failure to cross over means ultimately Ukraine's objective of taking back all territory considered Ukrainian by Kiev will remain unfulfilled.
Patience will be required to see how this actually unfolds vs. how emotionally and politically charged commentary claims it will unfold...

❗️Scott Ritter, a military analyst and former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, tells Sputnik why the Russian MoD's decision to withdraw from parts of the Kherson region to the left bank of the Dnepr River was right.
💬 “This is a decision that seemed to focus on preserving the lives of thousands of Russian soldiers over holding on to territory which has no intrinsic value in the short term. I think it was a just decision, one that was made based upon purely military objectives.”

💬 The Intercept, a US-based portal, has rolled out a massive investigation into the failures by biologists at American laboratories studying various viruses to comply with biosafety standards when working with dangerous pathogens.
There were, in fact, many such failures.
The article reports on hundreds (!) of serious incidents at American biolabs over the past two decades.
The journalists sifted through over 5,500 pages of government reports, including documents from the National Institutes of Health, and came to conclusions that are truly terrifying. Sealing failures have been taking place at BSL-4 labs, which are supposed to adhere to the highest safety standards and store the deadliest and highly contagious strains. There is also evidence of people getting infected, as in the case of a post-graduate student from Washington University who was infected with the Chikungunya virus as a result of an error. In 2010, an autoclave malfunctioned at a University of California lab, potentially exposing its staff to a lethal strain of the SARS virus, but luckily no infections were reported. The article also mentioned “cascading errors” which can pose an immediate threat to the epidemiological situation in the United States.
If we look beyond Covid-19, we see that criminal negligence reigns supreme at biolabs on American soil. Imagine how little care US researchers have for ensuring the safety of dangerous strains elsewhere. If a leak happens there, this will offer them a marvellous opportunity to undertake an external participant observation, for purely scientific purposes, of course, and after that sell their medicines to the affected population.
☣ This is a lottery where they can only win. But a deadly one at that.
