Gun Owners of America has already filed suit on these grounds and other issues with this law in direct contravention of the Bruen decision.

This is another important point brought up in GOA’s suit already filed in Federal court: these parts of NY’s new law were already addressed in Bruen and are illegal/unconstitutional. The idiots in NY Legislature so eager to deny people’s second amendment rights wrote their bill & passed it before seeing what was in the Bruen decision foolishly, & now face a successful court challenge striking the law down.
