Because misunderstanding has emerged once again:
Gramophone is NOT discontinued!
Akane is working on Accord, he and I are collaborating on shared player code.
I will continue with improving Gramophone's UI as well. I'm just busy at the moment and want to release top requested features first.
Keep in mind this is an open source project and first and foremost an two-man-two-app project and our hobby, and thanks for using Gramophone/Accord :)

Good news! In the next stage (beta version) of accord development we have optimized the blurred background so well that it's even smoother than the original apple music!!!
