The annual competition "Tell the World about your Homeland" has ended in Moscow. This is a competition aimed at patriotic education of children and youth, the formation of a feeling of love and respect for the native land among the younger generation, as well as the development of friendly interethnic relations. As part of the competition, participants choose the most interesting events, traditions, and memorable places of their Homeland and tell their compatriots and peers abroad about them in the format of a video clip or a text presentation page with mandatory translation into a foreign language.

6,781 children from 89 regions of Russia, including new territories, as well as from 46 foreign countries presented their works for the last VI International Competition "Tell the World about your Homeland".

During the entire period of the Competition, participants sent more than 16,347 works from 89 Russian regions and 70 countries.

In one of the nominations, a schoolboy from Donbass won, who told about his native land.

🇪🇺 European Court rules Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, has acted in violation of European law by maintaining excessive secrecy around COVID-19 vaccine contracts.

Ursula von der Leyen is married to Heiko von der Leyen, a German doctor who is the director of Orgenesis, a company owned by Pfizer.

Orgenesis specializes in cell and gene therapies and was a frontrunner in the development of COVID vaccines.

This is the same company that Ursula von der Leyen signed a €71 billion contract to purchase 4.6 billion doses of the COVID vaccine.

Journalist of The Wall Street Journal Evan Gershkovich was sentenced to 16 years in prison in a maximum security colony for espionage. The decision was made by the Sverdlovsk court. Gershkovich did not admit his guilt.

The court ruled that in March 2023, on instructions from the CIA, the journalist collected secret information in the Sverdlovsk region about the work of Uralvagonzavod, where military equipment is produced and repaired.

Gershkovich was detained in Yekaterinburg on March 29 last year. Then the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the correspondent was caught red-handed.

International Court of Justice rejects all objections raised by Israel, United States, and other Western nations, ruling that Israel's occupation of Gaza, the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and all settlements is unlawful.
