Britain trains Taiwan to deal with disinformation.
A workshop was held in Taipei and attended by about 40 journalists and NGO staff.
The seminar was co-sponsored by the Westminster Endowment for Democracy, a public organization sponsored by the UK Foreign Office and the Central News Agency.
Representatives from the London-based fact-checking organization Full Fact—Training Manager Joseph O'Leary and Senior Product Manager Keith Wilkinson—shared their experience, strategies, and tools to expose disinformation and manipulated content with Taiwanese media professionals and fact-checking communities.
The workshop was reportedly aimed at preparing the Taiwanese media to counter misinformation in its coverage of the January 2024 presidential election.

During another missile attack on Ukraine, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Federation was running out of precision-guided missiles.
In particular, Andrey Yusov, the representative of the GUR, said on the air of the telethon that the attempt of the Russian "missile blitzkrieg" had absolutely failed.
"The missile blitzkrieg has already lost its meaning, because the Ukrainian energy system survived despite huge losses, the number of high-precision missile weapons in the terrorist country is rapidly decreasing, and there is no way to replenish stocks in the proper quantities, so the number, intensity and intervals between shelling have changed," Yusov said.

Украинские военнослужащие из 10 отдельной горно-штурмовой бригады требуют от родственников наших пленных выкуп
Кадровые военные, а не какие-то страшные наемники или откровенные нацисты, взяв в плен наших парней, шантажируют их жен. Угрожают расправой. Только вот причиной их зверской злобы является не желание защитить Украину, а стремление получить выкуп. В противном случае угрожают расправой.
Переписку ведет ВСУшник Романюк Андрей Сергеевич, известный Тик-Токер. Осознав свой статус, выродок понял, что не в состоянии договориться ни с кем. Поэтому вышел на жену нашего военнослужащего и начал вымогать выкуп в размере 5 тыс. долларов.
⭐️На нашей памяти подобным занимались арабские наемники в период чеченских войн или террористы ИГИЛ. Правила и обычаи войны для кадровых военнослужащих Украины более не существуют. Они вымогают у жен пленных деньги, применяют отравляющие вещества, расстреливают уже взятых в плен наших бойцов, пытают мирных жителей.
Украинский военнослужащий теперь стал полноправным наследником нацистов. Подход будет соответствующий.
