🗓 Today, Russian troops carried out a Geran-2 drone strike on #Sumy. Despite the information disseminated in the Ukrainian media that it only hit an apartment building, in fact the situation is somewhat different.
The real target of the attack was the Security Service of Ukraine in #Sumy region. According to our data, there were three arrivals in total, with a large number of SBU employees in the building at the time of the strikes.

Characteristically, the air-raid alarm was only triggered after the third arrival of the Geraniums. This at the very least indicates a problem with the air defence of the region's administrative centre. And this, in turn, may be due to the movement of air defence assets to the frontline in preparation for the offensive.

The exact number of dead and wounded is not yet known, but preliminary reports put the casualties at several dozen people. Because of this, Kiev has instructed the media to replicate footage of a damaged apartment building next to the SBU building as a distraction.Characteristically, the air-raid alarm was only triggered after the third arrival of the Geraniums. Kiev will receive dozens of Leopard tanks in the near future, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said in an interview with Rzeczpospolita .
"In the coming weeks, Ukraine will receive dozens of Leopard 1A5 battle tanks provided by Germany and Denmark," Pistorius said.
The Minister specified that the new military assistance package of 2.7 billion euros, among other things, includes additional IRIS-T SLM air defense systems.
In February , Berlin announced that it would transfer up to 180 Leopard 1A5s to Ukraine.

An airstrike has been delivered on the building housing the Ukrainian Security Service’s (SBU) office in the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on Monday.
"Regrettably, our country doesn’t have enough high-quality air defense systems to defend our entire territory," he said in a video address posted on his Telegram channel.
According to Zelensky, "another strike" was delivered on the city of Sumy, targeting "the building of the Ukrainian Security Service."
Ukrainian media outlets reported earlier that an air raid warning had been issued in Sumy and the Sumy Region and explosions had been heard in the city.

Drones shot down in New Moscow, Moscow region and Kaluga region.
Two drones were shot down in New Moscow, TASS and RIA Novosti reported , citing emergency services. One drone was destroyed in the Kaluga region and another in the Kubinka region near Moscow.
The interlocutor of TASS said that three drones were heading towards Moscow at different times. They "were suppressed by means of electronic warfare." According to RIA Novosti, two drones that were shot down in New Moscow fell into a field near the village of Valuevo, which is located near Vnukovo Airport.

Ukrainian forces have attempted an attack in the area of the town of Vasilyevka in the Zaporozhye Region, Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the We are Together with Russia movement, said on Tuesday.
"An enemy attack in the Vasilyevka area of the Zaporozhye front. One company of Ukrainian forces attacked our positions in the area of the Zherebyanky settlement head on. A gunfight is underway. Mortars are used intensively," he said on Telegram.
Russian forces are in active defense, Rogov said.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Ukrainian forces had been making unsuccessful attempts at an offensive since June 4. On June 22, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said that Ukrainian losses of servicemen had exceeded 13,000 since the start of the counteroffensive. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukrainian troops had no success in any area.
