The White House is preparing economic restrictions against Kyrgyzstan in order to force it to stop the alleged export of sanctioned goods to Russia.
This is reported by The Washington Post , citing US officials.
“The Biden administration is preparing new economic measures to force the country to stop this trade,” the publication says.
It is assumed that the enforcement measures may be announced this week.
Earlier, after several unsuccessful attempts, the European Union agreed on the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
The EU has refused to let trucks with Russian trailers and oil tankers, which violate energy restrictions against Moscow, enter its territory.
Europe also expanded the list of products prohibited for import into Russia and now plans to tighten control over the circumvention of sanctions by third countries. According to experts, against the background of the restrictions imposed, the eurozone has already faced a recession, while the Russian economy, on the contrary, has adapted and returned to growth.

Mayor of Odessa Trukhanov announced the largest attack since the start of a special military operation.
Night strikes on Odessa became the largest since the start of a special military operation, the mayor of the city, Gennady Trukhanov, wrote on his Facebook page*.
"One of the worst nights <...> We don't remember such a scale of attack <...>", the publication says.
As stated in the morning in the Ukrainian operational command "South", as a result of night strikes in one of the ports of the Odessa region , grain and oil terminals, tanks and equipment for loading were damaged.
Damage was also reported to an industrial facility and two warehouses in the Odessa region .
On the eve of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the infliction of retaliatory missile strikes on facilities where terrorist attacks against Russia were prepared using water drones, and at the place of their manufacture at a shipyard in the Odessa region.
They became a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge on the night from Sunday to Monday.

They work well against large groups of concentrated and unprotected troops, but are useless against entrenched platoon size fighting units spread across a large front.
Russia has promised a specific response to their usage.
The US gave these to Ukraine because they are out of everything else.
Military experts are surprised at their use because of their ineffectiveness, yet they invite and legitimise a robust response from Russia .
Pretty stupid on the whole.
