In the Kherson region they predicted a socio-humanitarian catastrophe in Kherson.

Co-chairman of the Coordination Council for the Development and Integration of New Regions at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation , freelance adviser to the acting governor of the Kherson region, Alexander Malkevich , told RIA Novosti that a socio-humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding in the city of Kherson , controlled by Ukrainian troops.

According to Malkevich, in Kherson there are problems with food, interruptions in light and water, as well as “a complete collapse, including garbage.” He also pointed out that there is no work in the city, but there are utility bills.

“Plus, the terror from paramilitary gangs continues, people are constantly kidnapped, threatened, and extorted money. Therefore, not just a humanitarian, but, I would say, a socio-humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding in the city,” Malkevich said.

According to him, residents of Kherson are shocked by the fact that there is work on the left bank of the region, construction and modernization of infrastructure is underway, schools and universities are operating, and the population is exempt from paying for utilities.

On September 14, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, appointed by the Kiev authorities, announced that in the Ukrainian -controlled part of the region there would be a mandatory evacuation of families with children.

On September 15, it was reported that Ukraine launched a massive attack on multi-storey residential buildings in Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

Earlier, near Kherson, a man reported to the police about the kidnapping of a friend by people in military uniform.
